Turr phenir build....predator?

Whats the EPT of choice for turr? Predator? Crackshot?VI? Possibly adaptability.

I don't think ptl is the way to go. Or is it? Does it proc off the free boost/roll?

I want to fly him but without trying all of them, whats the direction for his build?

VI tends to be the way I go. Shooting then boosting or rolling out of arc before your target can shoot back is a great deal of fun. :)

Push the limit is nice too, because it can be triggered after your attack and you can barrel roll AND boost out of the way

vi, his ability is about shooting first.

and he's no han with such PS

Stuff Soontir Turtle - Turr Phennir has the quintessential Interceptor pilot ability.

VI, PtL and Predator are all good choices. You could even make a case for Lone Wolf...

Only problem with vi is all the PS 8/9 like poe and Vader taking it, making the ability less useful, but it's still my go-to for my favorite squint.

PTL is tempting for the double action after shooting, but shooting first is more important for Turr. There are A LOT of good PS7 and PS8 pilots out there: Poe, Miranda, Corran, Dash, OL, Redline, Inquisitor, Jax, and most scum top pilots.

It's better for Turr if he can get a shot off on HLC Dash and boost into range 1. Or barrell roll out of Scum Kath's rear arc, or br from Jax so you can use focus tokens for any shots coming in, boost away from Ghost AC ABT instant death combo! etc. etc. He is a pain in the ass for ships with lower PS than him.

but then you remember that Carnor or Fel would have simply boosted into same R1 before the shot, getting extra attack as well.

The way around this is to include some Ace killers in your list (Vader, Omega Leader, Doom Decimator maybe).

Awful logic, sometimes you don't have arc for your shot once you boost or barrel role out of their arcbor range.
