I've been thinking of bringing Leia into a scum list, as granting scum units extra attacks could be pretty powerful, Boba already hits hard, Trandos would deal extra strain etc.

First I thought I'd try Dengar, as he doesn't get a lot of love. Maybe him getting to shoot twice in a round would make him more useful.

How would you bring Leia into a Merc team?

Not exactly a reason not to run Leia, but one of the bigger issues with scum is that their command cards aren't as high impact as things like Son of Skywalker, New Orders, or Reinforcements. (They do have some good cards for Bantha builds.) So Leia's reshuffling isn't going to be as useful. She's still a great figure though.

I've not been that impressed with Dengar in Skirmish though. He seems overcosted (compare him to the upcoming Bossk at 1 point more, or Lando & Blaise at 1 point less. I think he's very comparable to Lando, but just worse.)

I do like Leia + Trandoshans though as they're vicious up close. But she would probably have to be close too in order to get LoS and she's kind of a glass cannon.

Yeah. My experience with Dengar is that if he can throw out a stun/bleed on someone, especially a melee unit, he's amazing. but that happens less than you'd like. And he dies hard.

Bantha/creature scum lists are pretty strong I think.

Yeah I painted up my bantha and haven't tried it yet so I'll probably build something around a bantha.

I like the thought of Leia in a Scum list, particularly as it might actually make Boba slightly more viable if you can get him to be shooting twice in a round. How about this

You could probably swap out the Nexu and raiders for a squad of HK's but I wanted a bit more health in the list and I typically never go below 6 activation's in a list.

The unit sub-types is sadly a mish-mash, 2 brawler, 1 hunter, 1 smuggler, 2 leader so it will be hard to build a synergistic command deck.

Still I think it has potential if you can sniper officers or dogpile Leia and Boba onto a high value target similar to how the twins operate.

Also I'm sure it's been mentioned before but I find it weird that with the 2 versions of temporary alliance the Imperials can hire two Mercs, the Mercs can hire two Rebels but the Rebels cannot hire Mercs, pretty sure Han wouldn’t have bothered helping initially if there wasn’t any money in it .

I just don't think there's much in the scum list that benefits from Leia's extra attack.

HKs are usually hidden up the back and Leia won't be able to shoot.

Trandos are up close and put Leia in too much danger

IG-88 can already shoot multiple times with command cards on his own

Boba doesn't do enough damage and his high mobility is either wasted standing near Leia or making it hard for Leia to be close not worth the 13+8+1 pts in my opinion.

Dengar also doesn't do enough damage... he's all about the debuffs. I guess you can spread more debuffs with Leia but again probably not worth the points investment.

Bantha is all about movement and special actions not it's base attacks.... also it will block LOS for Leia.
Bossk, maybe useful but again, fairly close range and risky just like the Trandos

Any extra attack is better than no attack obviously but she really shines when she gives extra attacks to high damage or 3 dice friendlies. Scum just don't have much of that.

Best bet is probably Trandos to make the most use of the auto 2dmg and auto strain, but it's a risky play and a large points investment.

I don't know what I would use with her, but now I really want a WotC Boushh to use for this purpose.

Undercover is pretty similar to the neutral faction Targeting Computers that we got with the Hoth expansion. I assume they could make figures with that card-back and type as well.
