Marcy has Special Modifications...

A vibro-bayonet. Finally .

N57 Combat Armour that helps recharge your guns

Why am I picturing Boba Fett with a bunch of USB devices plugged into a bunch of ports all over his armor?

Vehicles?

Okay, I'm taking a break now guys. I'll pop in later if you have more requests.

So where do the two Sig Abilities link up on the bottom of the tree?

Darn it, I came here for the post opt surgery pics! lol

I wish :)

How I shall ever picture Maelora:

Ach, I'm not that haggard! And nowhere near as hairy! :)

As for 'post op' I assumed he meant fake bewbs. I'm really small and skinny and tomboyish, so I get cleavage envy.

But nah, I like gamer-guys, but I don't wanna be one.

I did, however, see Tim Curry play Frank in London many years ago, and the show was amazing!

Hrmf, I dunno if I wanna tell you now you compare my (admittedly fading) looks to a cross-dresser...!

Ah, but okay, I can never resist an angry penguin!

Inventive Creation is in slots 2 & 3, Unmatched Calibration in 1 & 4.

Vehicles?

Well, seeing as you asked so nicely... :o

Bactoid UHXH Heavy Work Platform (speeder with cranes and stuff hanging off the back)

Sorosuub Portable Store KRI80 (sort of selling junk from the back of a van...)

Sorosuub Rapid Service Speeder J15 (a breakdown truck in speeder form)

Ubrikkian TRL03 Skyclaw (Sil 5 recovery vehicle)

There's also things like loader arms, intelligent toolboxes, several drones and a 'mechanical dionaga'. Which, alas, is a kind of tool, not your very own robotic trash-compactor dweller :(

You know, if you are going to be compared to a crossdresser, there are a whole LOT worse choices than Tim Curry. . . .

*swoons for that sneer*

Full disclosure: I'm as straight as the day is long and I'd still jump Tim in a New York Second.

Yeah, one of the guys in my group is Trans. I get taken along to plenty of Rocky Horror Shows, as well as John Waters films :)

How much XP does the Mistafarian have, is there any gear for them, how does the book rationalize them as techies, and are there lava fleas?

Standard 100 xp. They mention lava fleas but we don't get stats.

They rationalise them as techies by saying they were used in mining and industry by the Techno Union pre Clone Wars. (I hope that means something to someone as it means bugger-all to me!)

I actually found it mildly bizarre that the book expressly calls out that these three races are not known for technological skill.

In general, I'm always baffled and bewildered by the choices for species, and these make very little sense when we could have had jawas or Arkanians or something iconic to being techies.

Yawn... stretch...!

Okay, I'm off to sleep as it's late in Britland.

Hope I whet your appetite for getting the book, anyways. I was a little disappointed in the Commander one (why no snazzy uniforms or medals with crunch, why no new weapons...?) but this one is full of good stuff, even for non-techs.

If anyone has any remaining questions, I'll answer 'em tomorrow.

On behalf of everyone, thank-you very much Marcy, for the taster of the book. We are appreciative geeks. Your early copy was clearly well deserved.

You oughta try googling sexy gotal....

Wait wait wait! You're saying we don't all look exactly like our avatars? [confused frown]

I have to say that the lack of ship modifying (encumbrance to hardpoints as you convert cargo space to house extra doodads) is disappointing, it sounds like an interesting.

The species choice, while I look forward to the Dug, being called out as non techie centric is par for the course. We never got Bith for entertainer, and gammorean with the hutt space book. I definately would have liked ughnauts over mustafarian.

On a side note, i know more than a few women that are jealous of Tim Curry's legs in the Rocky Horror Picture Show..

Are Modders able to add hard points to a sil 4 starship with a talent?
