Whisper And Kallas Is a Ghost Killer

Just played a game with Whisper (VI, FCS, Kallas, ACD), Rudor (PTL, AT, V1), and Inquisitor (PTL, AT, V1). On the other side of the table was Hera Ghost (FCS, AB Turret, Numb, Kanan), Ezra Shuttle (PTL, Chewy), and Blue Novice (R2, IA).

The two PATs ate the T-70 for breakfast and the Ghost only landed one hit on Whisper the entire game. (Hera did make very short work of Rudor though).

The Ghost hits hard, but depending on the front arc for max damage really seems to limit this ship. I'm not sure if AB Turret is the way to go with the Ghost. I think I'm going to attempt an Ion turret the first time I fly one.

I think non-phantom VCX can be a bigger threat to whisper than titled.

Fcs, gunner, ABT, ion projector, tactician, flechettes

I too think a non-title VCX may be the way to go. The shuttle eats a lot of points and my opponent didn't get much out of it.

It requires that you guess correctly on your opponent's maneuvers, unlike Intelligence Agent, sure but it allows you to boost after that 1turn, 3turn or 5k and your dial is opened up to 12 maneuvers, removing stress. You could say oh no I'm taking a damage with Chopper but it's better you take 1 than up to 5 from a range 1 Whisper. Intel Agent is just a crutch for players that can't predict their opponent's maneuvers.

Not when it's against higher PS ships. Then it's a waste ;)

Why would you just use IA and Nien Nunb? That should be more than enough options, and doesn't require you to lose out on actions for a turn... or take damage from chopper.

... Yeah, Kanan is wasted on Hera, their abilities have no synergy (unlike the Sullustan I mention above).

Kanan is way better on a Sabine or Ezra shuttle. Or Dash :)

I used Hera with Kanan, EU and Advanced Sensors. Turned the thing into a really big Aggressor. The turns it's not using Kanan on itself it can use to support any PTL craft flown alongside it (like Ezra PTL).

They have incredible synergy. Hera will frequently stress herself flying to the max, and Kanan lets her destress on whites.

The same is said about Navigator, Stay on Target and Imperial Boba, and it's untrue.

It's not that you will adjust your maneuvers, it's that you can. It's like fighting the old Schrodinger's Phantom: if you go right, it'll catch you, if you go left, it'll catch you.

Intelligence Agent lets you apply that same threat to higher PS, with a blocking threat too. Combine that with Zeb and things can get nasty for higher PS opponents. Intel Agent lets you screw with higher PS, and that's a very good thing.
