Wave 8: a low blow vs Y wings

By Hexdot, in X-Wing

A-wings I do contest because they did have fairly large roles in the one film they were in.

Maybe, but is that enough to be considered Iconic? I think that's a term that is misused. To me an Iconic ship is one that if you were to show a picture of it to 10 random people on the street at least 6-7 would know where it came from and maybe what it was.

But... but Arvel's sacrifice...

Kind of off topic, but doesn't Dark Curse kind of screw the triple U-Boat list? Granted it's only one ship, and the scouts still have a primary, but still...

Not any more. The rules update that came with the TFA Core Set changed the order of things in the Attack sequence a bit. A ship doesn't become the defender until after costs for an attack are paid. Dark Curse's ability only works while he is the defender. Blaster Turrets and ordnance fired with Dead Eye can be fired at Dark Curse now due to that change.

DC was so OP he needed a nerf in the rule book. So sad. At least Night Beast works like he's supposed to now.

...now, Carnor Jax on the other hand...

So many feels...

Arvel and Ackbar must have been homies. How could they not be total rockin cool bro's with names like that? They'd show up at the party and everyone be like "Hey! Must be the money!" and the keg would never empty, and all the crazy times would go on forever, they'd bring the karaoke gear and we'd all have such a blast... :sniffle: I'm gonna miss you buddy.
