I know some of you are crazy enough to buy double Ghosts, as the Store Championship thread noted someone who ran a quadruple Attack Shuttle list. Has anyone seen this combo yet? The more I think about it, the more I think it could actually work really well. You're talking 32 hull backing a pair of 4-dice primaries, both of which also get to fire torps out of their aft. One VCS with FCS, Hera and Han should be able to ping-pong all over the place without really worrying about actions, while a Chopper build could go nuts with the stress and APLs.
Anyone tried a double-VCX build yet?
Yes. They're very effective. Fcs, autoblaster, gunner if you have aces around your meta. Chopper is probably required, the other is more flexible. Ion projector is a monster on chopper. If you can force a bump on 2 ships on a 3-4 ship rebel list and get ion to happen it is basically game over.

auto-correct VCX is 40 @ ps 3
you can take 2 of those and have enough for a Ghost/Phantom pair
with Zeb shuttle, you can even go for the "I don't give ****" VCX (FCS Hera Ezra crew) and an auto-correct one

I did run a duel vcx list the other day, was good fun, but my dice hated me on the day and even with target locks still managed to roll only one hit multiple times, and when I did get good rolls my opponents green dice were exactly what they needed.
Not sure on the whole auto blaster turret on the vcx really, even on chopper going for bumps/being bumped I found it hard to keep aces in range one
have to say though when chopper is in the right place it is brutal and Kanan with ret spec is pretty survivable and the dial is a lot better than I thought it would be

Let me put it to you this way, I was running Chopper+Zeb+Hera+TLT+fcs with roark+tlt+tactician and stressbot and easily beat a hera build with accuracy corrector autoblaster ghost/phantom(ezra) roark ion cannon build.
Autoblaster is ok but I'd rather run tlt or dorsal turret. He used tlt in all of the games but less in the game against the quad unhinged tlt thugs. He mostly used primary there to dispatch them.
I had 2 bad matchups that I lost in part due to totally crappy red dice including rerolls.

I wouldn't say so. I won an SC this year with double decimators - RAC+VI+Vader, Oicunn+Predator+Gunner. I shared the build with my friend and he won an SC with it so it has actually won 2 SC's in my area - no other build has done that - lol.

No. Remember, the Decimator has a turret primary.
I ended top 4 with a double-ghost list (rebel, ac/ab, zeb, docked ezra, second rebel with fcs/abt) at a store championship on saturday. Lost out in the semi-finals to another ghost list (who I'd just beat in the final round of swiss the game before).

Couldn't you go for the torpedo rear arc and treat them as super Firesprays sort of?
