Ffg is racist. The only way to be ps9 is to be a dark lord od the sith specializing in starfifhter combat... or by bein born on corelia, like Han, wedge, soont, dengar, and awesom mcCoolname.

It might come as a surprise to you, but the star wars galaxy is big, very big. There might be plenty of people with zero screen time which are in one way or another better than the main characters of the series. Hey, look Baron Fel has rightfully is PS9 and check out his screentime. ;-)

Well Dengar is decidedly stronger than Boba Fett or Han Solo, even defeating Chewie in combat so...

I'm fine with him being PS9. Can't think of any other S&V characters that deserves that ps anymore than him at the moment.

Tales of the Bounty Hunters isn't solely about Dengar - Zuckuss & 4-LOM, Boba Fett, IG-88, Bossk, all get stories of their own in that.

The Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy does have Dengar as Boba's sidekick, as do the Dark Empire comics, but that's still not the same as "having a book all to himself"

He also appears as an antagonist in at least on Young Jedi Knights book.

So scum should never get a PS 9 pilot because they had very few characters shown in the movies? Doesn't sound logical to me. Also its a game the designer have to balance it for all factions. In the future there might be pilots you never heared of.

Vader should not have ps9! He has maybe 5minutes of fighter screentime and gets shot down in addition! And Wedge had to back after beeing shot from some random Academy Pilot!!!! Booo ps1 for both of them!!

Why? If he's in range one, pumping out five red dice on your lame, slow Y-Wing, the TLT isn't going to be doing jack all to him.

He's surprisingly much more durable and hard-hitting with Cloaking Device plus Stygium. Unless the CD got discarded in round one, He will rip TLTs to shreds. Once you get to Y-Wing's R1 cursed derierre you will only see those wings going Kaboom.

Actually, the 2 TIE's in the trench with Vader are Backstabber and Mauler Mithel. So either PS6 or PS7.

Makes me wonder if he can switch two blanks with 4 dice to evades as well when you give him autothrusters. But I guess that is not a bonus which would fall into range the combat bonus category. Still, PS9 without reposition tools is kind of a waste.

Correct. If the rest your your list can down another Y-Wing in that time becomes a worthwhile trade. Basically a single shot at range 1 against another Y-Wing should make it a net gain for the squad points you paid for him. The suggested build is "just" 8 points more expansive than a gold squadron TLT.

Ignoring that he is unique you could basically bring 3 of those or 4 Y-Wings.
