So I had some time to kill before a dinner reservation with the wife...so I threw on Empire and went to work on this baby. I wanted to give it some contrast to stand out amongst the sea of Ties/V-wings but not be too...flashy.

I personally cannot wait to use Vader now!

As for his V-wing escorts, I decided the first one was "too dark" as the V-wings seen at the end of sith are mostly white.

I had never thought of that, thats a cool idea.

Someone here suggested I read "Tarkin" and apparently five years into the Empire he's still rolling around in his black Eta-2. Apparently some sources state he used it up until he was given the Tie Advanced.

By the time of Star Wars Rebels (which is about 10 years after the Tarkin Novel) Vader uses the Advanced

According to Aftermath, he ejected from his Eta in space after setting it to fly into a cargo ship. The explosion breached the hull allowing him to board it. Loved the way he is treated in the flashback, but other than that, so far the book is garbage.
