The Colonel, Inky, and Palp

By Tbetts94, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Test (100)

Colonel Vessery (37) - TIE Defender

Crack Shot (1), Tractor Beam (1), TIE/D (0)

Omnicron Group Pilot (32) - Lambda-Class Shuttle

Emperor Palpatine (8), Emperor Palpatine (8), ST-321 (3)

The Inquisitor (31) - TIE Adv. Prototype

Push The Limit (3), TIE/v1 (1), Autothrusters (2)

I just created this list on Aurora SB with the new/future cards. Whoever CV attacks will have a red target lock on him from the Omnicron Pilot. The Inquisitor will be sniping from Range 3 and Palp supports the dice.

What do you guys think?

I like it. You have the right idea with crack shot, tractor beam, and not much else on CV. his ability carries so much weight that throwing any more points on him is simply inefficient. I have yet to run the defender with the shuttle (as I don't own a shuttle yet) but I love the idea of palp + defender. let me know how it works out. The synergy seems on point and it looks like a very fun list to fly.

Also, let me know how PTL is working out for you with the inquisitor. I've been wrestling with PTL vs juke on him for the longest time.

I ran the Inquisitor yesterday with PTL (whisper & palp list) and it worked great. Now he can't do 2 green banks like the Interceptors but you really don't ever need to because you want range 3. I liked it a lot. Haven't ran Juke yet with him.

I just created a very similar list. I was messing around with Electronic Baffle, though, to keep the Shuttle in the back as long as possible, which means swapping Crack Shot for Adaptability, or PtL for Juke. Just a theoretical list, though, haven't tried it.
