Hi folks, so after I reroll for target lock with a missile attack, do I get to reroll a third time with Jonas' ability? I thought I read somewhere a die could only be rerolled once during one attack. Thanks

You read correct. A dice may only ever be rerolled once, regardless of how many 'triggers' you might have for rerolls.

You can't reroll a reroll ever.

You can say attack with a ship carrying gunner use one reroll in the first attack miss then use another reroll on gunners attack.

So I'm guessing that Captain Jonus' ability would enable another ship to possibly retain his target lock instead of spending it during a missile attack, as he would use the Jonus reroll instead of the target lock reroll.

If a ship retains a lock after making a missile attack, and Jonus' effect takes place you could use Jonus' effect instead of the TL, and thus retain the TL, yes.

Neither of those pilots keep you from spending your target lock. They just make it easy to reacquire another.

You do only get to reroll a given die one time. When attacking with a secondary weapon within Jonus's effect you can reroll two using his ability; if there are more dice you can reroll them using other abilities.

While some ordnance allows you to keep the TL token most of it requires discarding the TL token along with the ordnance in order to perform the attack. Firing a Concussion Missile requires you to have a TL on the target and then as part of making the attack you discard the missile AND the TL token; modification comes later at which time you no longer have that TL .

When it comes to ordnance double check on whether or not your targeting require requires you discard the token or not. Many do and if they do you do NOT benefit from that token but some do not giving you the opportunity to spend that token later on modification.
