I guess if (s)he stocks up on eBay, but I don't think it would be an official channel.

To be sure, I'd like to get some of the prize supports that they give out at the big tournaments, but the point of them is that you have to win them.

I had heard in some of the news from the GAMA trade show last week that the game night kits next year are going to start sharing some of the same cards as the premier events, I don't remember if they said all Star Wars titles or if it was just X-wing.

What does that all mean, exactly? How is it different than the seasonal OP kits?

Its a different Kit, from what was hinted. A Kit that would let them have a Stream Party event and join in the celebration of the National and Worlds Tournaments including copies of the Cards that are normally only available at those big tournaments.

The other change with the Seasonal OP kits is they're supposed to be available anytime during that season, rather than pre-order with one order in advance sort of deal...

Other than that, that was really all that was covered in the GAMA stream, and I unfortunately have to deal with an Exclusive Distributor through my Store rather than FFG itself and I can't get info that way.

But a Store Owner in the US might be able to squeeze more Data when it becomes available.

One of my FLGSs occasionally does that, but I really have to wonder who would watch something like that. I barely had the patience to watch the final match at Worlds. (Well, I also did not have the time.... okay different story.) So, what's really the point?

I do like the idea of making some of the prizes more widely available, and on a higher order of priziness (top 4 for what at worlds might be top 32, or something of that nature).

I can't speak for other places, but its been okay for Hothgary, as the Sentry Box is the Largest Store in the Americas, if not the World...

I think this community has proven that they will watch streamed armada. I don't think any of us are scheduling are lives around it, but I know for myself if theres a good game on vassal or WWPD is streaming its high on my things to do list assuming it lands in a spot of time where i can watch.

I will watch a streamed game. . . I did watch round 2 of Worlds. . . If one can sit through that game then you can watch anything.

Yeah it's a bit like a Super Bowl party. Only in this case you could get some prizes being given at Worlds.

I don't know if this will be for all games though. They mentioned they were splitting up the OP track, I think it's one for Star Wars and one for everything else. That way X-Wing doesn't have to compete with Netrunner for time and space.
