Unboxed my Ghost. Amazed at her size. (I know, who isn't?) Curious stand design. So, is this plastic asteroid entirely stable? Any issues we should be concerned about?
(So far so good so concerned.)

I played a game against a ghost. It tipped over about 3 or 4 times. It's even more prone to falling off the base than Hound's Teeth are, but nothing broke and the base remained in place so it was just a minor annoyance.
Mine seems fairly stable. It wobbles, sure, but I don't think it is going to fall off.
"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship."
Had no issues as of yet. Great base.
"She's pretty but is she stable?"
Isn't that always the catch? ...as in the answer is almost never yes.

My immediate reaction:

Well that escalated quickly.
Well that escalated quickly.
And not in a good way.
So tomorrow I'm thinking full English for breakfast with extra bacon.
For pony!
Uh guys?

Cool, and all, how does the force feel about the base?
My immediate reaction:
Too right mate. Too right.

Eh, it's all good, yeah?
On a related note: the Ghost stand allegedly is designed to make the ship more stable, but how does the Ghost do on an epic peg as many people do with the Deci/Lambda/Falcon/YV? Additionally, does the Ghost stand fit under those other unwieldy large ships? I don't have either the Ghost or the others to try it myself.
If you're concerned about stability, super glue or epoxie some fender washers under the base. The extra weight works wonders.

I don't see how that can work. The Ghost's actual peg is no where near it's center of gravity.
Washers under the base. Yeah, may give that a shot.

Figures, that's sorta what I was wondering
Time for magnets.
Also horse puns for some reason.
Well that escalated quickly.
Cheers
Baaa
My immediate reaction:
She's crazy, sir. Turned an entire town to gold!
tested it with older bases, it fits but i think the one it comes with fits the best but it doesn't fit flush.
Yeah adding weight to the base as stoneface suggests is a good option, back when I still played 40k I'd often have to glue 2 pence pieces under some models with lousy balance.
