Genuine question: What's the problem with 40k?

By MrDodger, in X-Wing Off-Topic

FYI...

If anyone is part of the Heralds of Ruin Kill Team FB group I posted some editable PDF's to it. They aren't my PDF's I just added forms to the ones they had in their dropbox.

First glance, they look pretty solid. Have to put them through Mechanicum approvals before I say yeah or nay though

Thanks, if they're good please feel free to use them. If there's something wrong with them I can try to fix them. But if all they are good for is personal use then it was worth it. :)

I remember that well. Was later re-branded as combat patrol if I recall?

I used to enjoy 40K in 40. My Templars and Eldar against my eternal nemesis' dirty hit-and-run jetpacking oil boy Tau. Then the rest of the gaming group joined in, and we had dirty infiltrating Genestealers and dirty supercharged Ork warbuggying Burna Boys...

...I used to quite like the old Realms of Darkness Chaos warbands rules as well. Choose a God, create a champion, build a warband and crush all before ye as you try to ascend to Daemonhood (or become a raving Chaos Spawn).

The good old days.

See, that's just it. 40K has too many cheap ways to fight/kill.

Infiltrating genestealers, invisible (especially centurions) Guardian spam from a dying race (lolwut). buggy spam is a good one.

Killteam gets rid of so so much of that.
