Hi!! My friends and I are playing the mission "Scouring of the Homestead" and we're trying to grasp the concept of homestead tiles. Are homestead tiles like zones I.e. Groups of tiles or are homestead tiles each individual tile within the red. This definitely seems to influence the amount of threat imperial can generate and is an important discrepancy.

Any input is greatly appreciated

I think it's each square gives you a threat if there's a fire there.

I made this same mistake while interpreting the command card "Set a Trap". A Tile is the whole piece that is made up of several spaces. When you're putting a mission map together, you are pulling out the tiles that are listed on the bottom of the page.

Several squares make a tile.

Several tiles make a map/missions.
