So i'm new to X-Wing and wanted to try something using the HWK as I don't see it out there in many lists.

My thought was that Kyle and Poe would synergize well as Kyle can throw Poe focus tokens all game which will give Poe more options. I put together two different list with two different ideas in mind.

Idea here is that Kyle will be a focus generator to throw at Poe and also allow him to use his turret, but I realized how fragile the HWK can be that maybe I should go with a different build and came up with the below.

Idea here is to have Biggs take the heat off Kyle. Biggs has R2-D2 which gives him sustainability and with Jan Ors, Biggs gets evade tokens. I have 2 points left and thought about giving Poe Weapons Guidance, but not sure if the tech upgrade is worth the 2 points.
