Picked up my Ghost today and as I was cleaning up from my unboxing, I realized there wasn't a proof of purchase on punch outs like we've seen on previous ships. Is this an oversight by FFG or did I miss it somewhere?
Ghost Proof of Purchase
you claim to have purchased a Ghost?.... prove it....
see... you cannot prove you have purchased it, that's why you got no proof of purchase.
10/10 detective work by me, flawless logic.
Edited by GeressenLook for the UPC code on outside of box. FFG has been printing "Proof of Purchase" there for the last few releases.
(I'm only holding on to these incase FFG does a contest at an event like: "Who ever has the most P.O.P.'s in their pocket wins a free Wookiee!" or something...)
I'm assuming the POP is the UPC code on the bottom of the box.

Every ship I have purchased up until the Ghost has had the POP on the movement sheet if its a small ship or a cardboard token for the large ships. None of them have had the UPC code.
It's not a game playing issue or a huge deal. Just my OCD kicking in since I've been collecting them all.
I have not picked picked up my ghost yet, but if there isn't one there I would imagine it probably got replaced by the ID token for the dials. Only so much room on the punchboard.
That's why it's called the ghost...
Edited by Stone37I checked it as well. I could not find one. Punishing One has the punch out.
The newer small ships have them on the insert that has the maneuver dial... on the flap that I usually cut off... I miss it being on the cardboard... it stored nicely in with all my tokens. Now you have to remember where to keep up with it or cut it out from where it was and deal with flimsier material.
Why do you need these anyway? I threw them all out ages ago.
They have them now where on the piece of cardboard where the contents is. I bought the Mist Hunter, thought the same thing, noticed it on the contents page.

in case something breaks or is defective and you want to ask FFG for a replacement?
Check the back of the booklet that came with it. I think that's where it is on the HoundsTooth.
My Wave 8 arrived. Everything had Proofs where expected for their size of ships except the Ghost. I'll cut out those UPCs I guess. Better than nothing.
Edited by ViscerothSWGI had it, but then the Ghost jumped into hyperspace.
Another VCX-100 entered the system moments later, but I no longer had the 'Ghost' proof of purchase, so obviously it can't have been my ship! No idea what happened, and such a weird coincidence, too - the VCX-100 wasn't a super common design...
