I know this much at least: 4-LOM with Zuckus on board should never, ever get into range 1 of Guri. ![]()
Ghost-
I think the Ghost screams for Advanced Sensors. It is not going to be easy to avoid bumps with this ship. Damage is pretty good if you can keep stuff in arc. Not sure the autoblaster turret and accuracy corrector combo is worth the points.
Attack Shuttle-
Not breaking new ground here but Crewbacca is the man. I actually like the idea of the title because this ship will die quickly and being able to pop out later in the game might be worth it. Not sure yet. Sabine HATES 4-LOM though because stress kills her shenanigans completely.
Mist Hunter- Pretty solid ship so long as your opponent is shooting at something else. Not sure if the generics will see much use but that is good news for me, only need to buy one!
Tractor Beam- Almost all the time, a primary weapon shot is the better option. But at 1 point, this thing is just great to carry around in your back pocket.
Boba Crew- Really fun and will probably trigger eventually but he will be so easy to forget.

hell, you'll want to bump if you have Zeb. just murder the enemy with action-independent, uncancelable autoblaster shots

I like fcs and Zeb crew instead of advanced sensors for Hera. Same cost as accC or Advanced Sensors, but more range 1 5-dice kablooie.

My full wave 8 order can't arrive soon enough, but I caved and bought a second Jumpmaster last night. Ran the following:

My opponent ran Whisper, Soontir and VI Mauler. It was a slaughter. Between the massive Feedback bubbles and the Bumpmaster, his ships were just vaporized.
Not sure the autoblaster turret and accuracy corrector combo is worth the points.
In my experience so far it absoluately is. Though It'll probably get eaten by triple scout alpha strikes.

What have you flown it against? Just curious if the Ghost is going to be a funzies ship or if I can think about running it semi-seriously.
How were you getting stress on 4lom?
Tractor Beam essentially makes your planning phase the opposite of what it would be against an arc dodger.There's too many ways to make ranges work for you. Last night I had two stress Ks screw me over because Ten pulled Vessery right back into range 2 (and he'd already barrel rolled out of there). That and ruining my ability to attack with my other ships by throwing them on rocks.
If you see a beamer with an ability to easily make it stick, they are target number one, at least if you're running arc dodgers. Range 3 is super hard to dodge out of.

The dial. Lots of red on there. Zuckuss crew would be even better but you need to clear some points somewhere.

5-0 in the reddit vassal league (before the jumpmaster was spoiled). 10-1 in games outside of the league. I've played a couple palp aces lists. One game was soontir/carnor/whipser. Conceded after i doubletapped carnor one round and whisper the next. Last vassal league match was against a full 7 tie swarm (and was the scariest of the 5. Came down to my Ezra at 2 shields 1 hull after being deployed from the destroyed ghost) vs 1 academy pilot. The one loss was against a Fat Han/Poe list where I failed to get the final damage on poe the round I caught him at range 1, so he was able to get away and regen some and get several more shots on my ghost. I beat brobost one game. ANother league match was against 3 TAPs with concussion missiles and vessery.
The thing I'm most scared of (and haven't played against yet) is the 3 Jumpmasters. Even if I get into range 1 to avoid their missiles, I'm just taking 3 3-dice turret attacks instead. Their 27 health takes a while to burn through with only 2 ships, and my 16 on the ghost behind 0 agility will go down a lot faster...
As for whether it could be run competitively, I'm planning to take 2 ghosts (a variance of the list I"ve been playing that had 2 shuttles instead) to a store championship tomorrow.

That's definitely true. The scyk is still terrible, the starviper generics are still overcosted, though I like the uniques. The kihraxz isn't terrible, but it's nothing great. I lvoe the jumpmaster and G1A so far.
Mind sharing your loadout on the Ghost/Phantom?
Wave 8 is what happens when Scum gets unique ships that aren't terrible. All those nasty tricks become viable.
I've only picked up the Mist Hunter, TAP and Ghost so far... but been having a lot of fun theory crafting on a slow Friday afternoon...
