Blessing of isha question.

By insane0001, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

if my unit is corrupt and i attach blessing of isha on it would it then be no longer corrupt?

blessing of isha sais "attach to a target unit, if able . attached unit cannot be corrupted."

so if i read it i can attach it to a unit that is corrupted and then the corrupted unit is no longer corrupted by blessing of isha

does this make sense or am i incorrect here?

thanks

Chalk another for misread card I guess.

Blessing of Isha (at least mine) reads:

" Attachment. Spell.

Attach to a target unit. Restore that unit if able.

Attached unit cannot be corrupted."

Restore if able, so if you attach BoI to a corrupt unit, it restores, if not already corrupted, no restore. In either case, that unit can't be corrupted as long as it has BoI.

hmmm...

never thought it that way

i thought it was attached to a unit and when it is killed and i have enough resources to pay it that it is than "restored"

the rulebook doesnt say anything about restore, so now the question is what is restore?

healing = take counters from a dammaged unit so that it heals

restore = (what i thougt), if a unit is killed then restore it.

Actually, RESTORE is at pag. 10, with a specific not that links it to Corruption... ;)

So, Restore = Un-Corrupt a Unit. gui%C3%B1o.gif

Page 10, under 1. Kingdom Phase - " The active player also has the opportunity to restore (see Corruption, p 17) any single corrupted card under his control at the beginning of his kingdom phase, before any player actions can be taken. "

Page 17, third paragraph, under the heading Corruption - " At the beginning of his kingdom phase, a player has the option of restoring one corrupt card that he controls. To restore a card, turn it back 90 degrees in the other direction, so that it is again vertical on the playing area. A restored card is no longer corrupt. "

So restore is un-corrupting a card.

my mistake then, overlooked it i ques.

thanks

No worry. Most of the rules questions and even those starting "debates" usually have a direct statement in the rules which covers it, but one party has completely missed it. It happens to all of us (often time more than once).

Cheers.
