Bespin Cards in Competitive Skirmish

Now that we've see a bunch of the deployment cards associated with Bespin what are everyone's thoughts about where they will fit into the meta?

Will Agent Blaise be able to squeeze into the strong trooper lists we are seeing a lot of?

Will Bossk be able to dish out enough damage to be worth his 8 points?

What will scum be able to do now with the new 3 figure squad of Wing Guards?

Any chance of Lando making it into competitive rebel lists?

Bossk? Definitely.

Lots of potential for Scum:

I agree on Bossk. He's going to be great for both direct damage and crowd control.

Wing Guards have potential, the Elite ones will hopefully surge for 2 damage and have similar attack die and health as Elite Stormtroopers (which are great right now thanks to the Reinforcements and Grenadier command cards)

Ugnaughts might be good to control points and objectives with disposable junk droids. Will depend on meta and rules details.

Imperials:

Not impressed with ISB Enforcers; just spend the extra point for Troopers with way more health. Elites might have extra abilities that make them a bit better but I'm doubtful.

Blaise has potential as a 6-point, 3-attack-die figure with a variety of useful surges. Seems playable especially if you can get use out of his spy or leader types.

Rebels:

Lando I'm not sold on. For 6 points I want to be rolling 3 attack die. Even with his gamble re-rolls and good surges there's a low damage cap for a 6-point figure. However if you can get a Hide to Surge chain going (hide gets you a surge which you can use to hide again while also doing stun) then perhaps he gets better. He's got similar abilities to Elite Stormtroopers, but he costs 6 for 1 figure and they're 9 for 3 (basically half Lando's cost).

We haven't seen peeks at the Skirmish cards for the new rebel heroes. But it's likely Davith will be a melee figure with hide, which seems pretty meh unless he's very efficiently costed. I have high hopes for Murne being another Gideon-esque support character that can move other figures and hopefully give them the Hide condition (which would be awesome).

Blaise being able to counter some command card heavy rebel lists will be nice, and he's pretty cheap. He's countered a bit by Leia though. Nice and cheap for a 3-dice attack though

Not overly sold on the ISB Enforcers. Depends if you can make a good spy command deck.

Lando. He's not bad. Got some good abilities... maybe a point or two too expensive.

New Jedi will be cool just to make force user command decks more playable. Haven't seen his deck yet. I like hide making melee units a bit easier/safer to play.

Bossk. Amazing. Period.
He so good for such a low cost. The grenade is flat out better than Saska's in every way. It's basically a slightly worse grenadier... every turn.

Auto recover is just absurd. If you've ever played against a list with Luke and MHD, or recover droids you'll know how strong it is. Greatly underestimated ability imo. Being able to do it automatically without surges or attacks or anything is **** strong.

Built in 2dmg is basically the equivalent of an extra dice (making it a 3 dice attack), in addition to his indiscriminate fire.
Built in block with 10 health is also great for 8pts (that's the same as Luke but for 2 less points) and that's before the free recover.

Hunter/Brawler gives him access to some nice command cards too.

And finally the pierce 2 ain't bad considering he doesn't need surges for anything else.

He's basically going to be an auto include in any Merc list . He's so cheap, doesn't need any specific support, fits in to many different lists. He'll see as much use as Leia, Gideon etc... imo.
