First of all, sorry if this has come up before. I did look but couldn't find any discussion about this.

Right so we all reckon were going to get both Endor and Jabba'so Palace as "prime" location for the next two boxed sets BUT which way round????

Honestly I'm hoping for the Palace to be the big box and Endor the smaller. The Rancor can be the big "vehicle" centrepiece of the big box with massive Scum boost many people want.

This leaves the inevitable snipers and scouts to be the main villains for the smaller Endor box (I'm hoping no speeder bikes due to board sizes)

If they really are looking at doing two separate expansions, it would be interesting if they could sneak a nod to Shadows of the Empire into a Jabba's Palace type release that would explore Coruscant and some other planets and would then lead to an adventure or two infiltrating Jabba's Palace before the big finale (which cannot actually be at Jabba's Palace as they need to leave him effectively alive so he can laugh at Luke when he comes for Jabba's favorite decoration).

Personally, I see the campaign starting at Jabba's Palace. Jabba is a gangster, you need information, or resources, etc. You have to fight off his guards (led by an Imperial agent who was sent to block your attempt) in the process of breaking in to meet with Jabba. You encounter the Rancor which is not killed when defeated through Jabba's intervention, but he is impressed with your prowess so he makes a deal. Then you have to pursue the information he gives you onto Coruscant. The whole expansion could be scum themed with some type of Coruscant guard as Imperial filler. But we need a Gran with thermal detonators, Gamorreans with axes, maybe a Quarren or Queequay skiff guard. Oh, and a kawakian monkey lizard.

Rebels could have an 'infiltrator' unit, Imperials could also have a spy droid or shadow troopers maybe.

Imperial Assault as a game is a dungeon crawler no? To me it would make sense to put more emphasis in Jabba's Palace, which is the most dungeon like setting in Star Wars. I say give the slug the big box, and let endor bat clean up with Endor and the Emperor, so we can get into the new stuff! Rey, and Kylo, and Poe oh my!

I would love a Jabba Palace/Skum big box expansion. That would really add variety to the bad guys and the tiles. Also as a whole Scum miniatures were the most fun to paint to this point. I have painted enough storm troopers and mechanical giants. I want big monsters in a whole variety of colors, not white storm troopers/scout troopers/wood troopers again.

I will say just one thing: RANCOR!

I could still easily see JP *AND* Endor both being big box sets. They can throw in Shadows of the Empire, Dagobah, Coruscant, whatever as a small box set like Twin Shadows. Maybe Boba Fetts revenge of him emerging from the Sarlacc Pit and we can all have "official" canon now that he lives on!!

Cuz Boba Fett cant really appear after JP if we want to stick to script...

I should probably be ashamed but I am trying to think what on Endor would Imperials get in an expansion? I'm not sure speeder bikes would translate to this game, and we have already got the AT-ST's sorted.
