I bought one with the same intentions but have yet found time to even decide on the scheme.

For Scum I would not allow the Docking Clamps upgrade (since your not flying TIEs) along with the Comms.
Those are Empire things. In its place I would give the ship an Illicit and a Missile slot. Perhaps a Title or 2.
You also get access to all that yummy scum crew. Zuckuss would especially nasty since Huge ships care little about stress.
If I'm not mistaken... Not to turn it into a contest...
So far I've seen two people object to the Scum Gozanti using docking clamps,
and just about everyone else (4-5 people) talking about how to make it work.
I don't have time to make another card right now but you can edit this one.
Let's be honest though, there aren't any Gozanti out there without the 4 ports,
if not the extensions made for the TIE fighters.

One note for folks who don't want to modify the Docking Clamps... you can stick a post into the Docking Clamp to "extend" it, then mount the ship. That way you can dock things, but just have them hanging down (will try to take a pic, so everyone can visualize). The post that the normal small ships sit on can (if you turn it upside down) mount into the Docking Clamp.
Thinking on the pilot card... I agree on adding an Illicit slot, but it makes me wonder what else might change to make it more "Scummy"... I would prefer it's base ability to be something different than the Imperial version, if possible. Without changing the spirit of the deploy, maybe it is "If you would reveal a maneuver, and you have at least 2 docked ships you may instead skip your maneuver this turn. If you do, you may deploy 2 or more ships during your Action Phase, as a free action" (not worded right... but something to catch the spirit of it takes "all hands" to deploy, hence the ship can't move).
Or maybe strip that completely, and go with the idea similar to the GR-75 project, and make the base Scum Gozanti not have anything about docking, and make that an upgrade/title/modification card?
Okay, I'm not going to thread-jack, but here's a teaser for the thread I will be posting this weekend, hopefully. This should correct the form of the ship. Cards will be in the future...
Created my thread earlier..... enjoy!

You guys all have some great ideas. Personally I would lose the carrier aspect and make it a slugger. Give it cannons, and missles and torps. Tractor beams for capturing merchant freighters, etc...
I thought the Imperials specifically modified a few Gozanti just to carry TIEs.
Take at look at some of the SW: Clone Wars episodes for some scum Gozanti inspiration.
Any update? I would love to see how this is going.
This is excellent...been thinking about a Scum Gozanti since getting into X-Wing at the start of the year...but coz I was nervous about chopping up the clamps, I've been thinking along the lines of a small group [maybe a minor Hutt] using salvaged TIEs along with Y's etc...after all, I guess the Goz is really for transporting ships without hyperdrives?
...I figure that if there are enough parts around to cobble Y-Ties etc, then why not just rebuild battle-damaged TIEs, and maybe have some ex-Academy pilots [like Biggs] who join scum rather than rebels - here's one thought:

Only got my 2nd Goz last week, to try weathering & beating-up - not great with a paintbrush, though, so will maybe try with pencils [ https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/190091-weathering-with-pencilsdirt-streaks-grime-rust-blaster-burns/ ]
Really looking forward to seeing how these conversions work out, and so hoping someone manages to 3D-print some aftermarket clamps...although I guess FFG might not be too happy about that
[although maybe better than inundating them with "my clamp broke, please send a replacement" requests ]
Cheers
I think that would be a defector, Biggs graduated from the academy he didn't drop out.
A dropout would have a pilot skill of 0. Okay joking but maybe 2 as they are not as enthusiastic as the fresh Imperial pilots.

My bad ! Of course, he got his commission on the Rand Ecliptic...
I've since changed the card to pilot skill 1 to reflect it being an academy pilot not completing their course, but at cost 12 - I figure the illicit slot cost is cancelled by the extreme manoeuvre penalty [due to the ship having been scum-repaired].
...but I now realise I should do it as a non-unique title rather than have the blurb on the card [like the ARC], so will be changing it again, along with a couple of others to give me my flight of 4 scum TIEs.
you know as soon as you are done with this FFG is going to come out with their own epic scum version. like they did with Poe.. lol.. but it is cool... I am still planning on making an Imperial blockade runner myself..
