Flotilla Showcase.

Place your wild ass guesses as to how many points the flotillas will be.

Gozanti 20/21, Rebel Transport 16/18

If there is another thread already doing this buried under all the salt, then my apologies.

Why should the Gonzanti be more expensive than the GR-75. Swapping two broadsides for rear fire is not much of a difference. Do you expect the GR-75 to be slower or less agile than the Gonzanti?

Probably because Imperial ships are more expensive than Rebel ships across the board...for some reason.

Seems that the Gozanti has a black anti-squadron die, and a ship that cheap with a black AS die is actually a pretty terrifying concept to face down.

They could overlap in price ranges, but I reckon the rebel one will be cheaper because it's ye olde transport, and one variant has no gun at all.

I would have gone a little higher, maybe around the Millenium Falcon mark, 25-30.

Especially if you can put ordnance experts on the Gozantis... I think that the Imperial Assault Cruisers might have a weapons team upgrade, given that it's a more offensive set of ships than the GR-75s. Hence the slightly higher cost.

However the card shows a blue anti-squadron, only the bases shows a black, and that looks a bit strange.

So you think we will see the unarmed version? The preview doesnt look like there would be multiple versions of them.

Politics, especially right, now do poorly on the interwebz comments and forums... But that's hilarious... Now let us no longer talk about that galaxy far far away in the distant future.

As far as cost goes I can't see either under 20, because that puts them in fighter squadron pricing. I expect the cheap versions to be low 20s and the more expensive going up to mid high 20s... Say 27-28. To cheap and they get spammed out of the woodwork, to expensive and those fleet upgrades better be worth it or they won't be played much.

Interesting note, this further opens the possibility to a scum faction as they would be unlikely to have major capital ships like the ISD. So a few waves down the line you could see a faction with a couple flotillas, a couple small ships, and a medium as it's flagship class. Throw in a couple fighter squads and some "rogue" style of ships and away you go. I'm Imperial mainly and while we don't need that scum, it's starting to grow on me... (Like the plague, maybe)... Where's an ISB agent whren you need one.
