False advertising : Mist Hunter pack

By Rogue 4, in X-Wing

The real world can take care of itself it'll be here long after we hairless apes have killed ourselves off.

If only people cared this much about real world problems... *happily buys another ship*

Just one? I bought another two Mist Hunter expansions after I found out there was only one tractor beam upgrade inside.

I'm totally serious.

Still, it's safe to say that if FFG had just posted a news update in the previously published news stories on the FFG website and told customers about the changes to the included upgrades prior to the release of Wave 8 then they could have avoided a lot of negative feelings among customers.

Is this a "serious" problem? Not to most people.

Will it negatively impact sales of Wave 8? Not in any measurable way.

That said, every business and economics class I've taken that addressed the complexities of "client/customer relationships" said the same thing: The "little things" have a cumulative effect for better or worse.

You improve the relationship between your business and customers over time if you make clients/customers feel like they are important to you; by promptly responding to their needs/concerns and by showing them you "go the extra mile."

Conversely, you hurt the client relationship over time if customers feel like you don't care about them or their concerns/complaints.

The idea that "little things have a cumulative effect" became even more obvious over the last two decades thanks to the Internet and social media. Since businesses are more connected to customers than ever before (via discussion forums, website comments, blogs, YouTube videos, Facebook, etc.) there are more ways to do "little things" that help your business and more opportunities to do little things to make customers angry.

Amen! :-)

Actually, the wave 8 announcement article hasn't been updated yet, but the ship preview article has.

The file names on them are identical.

Even the "fixed" imaged show 2 tokens, while only 1 is required. Big fail here.

**** cheaters...

Anyone notice the ship name swap? The old previews (wave 8 announcement) listed it as G-1A Transport, but it switched to G-1A Starfighter in the dedicated ship preview, only to come back to G-1A Transport in the March 17 spread fix. The physical dials are Starfighter, in hand.

Yeah, I don't like it.

I was supposed to get one TB for some cards and now I'll have to wait for Imperial Veterans.

At least got a token for free.

The first actual problem I have with FFG.
