How many focii does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

Manaroo focus's, getting two and giving Bossk one via mindlink
Bossk focus's, gaining 4 more (5 total now)
Manaroo gives Bossk all of her focus, for 7 total on Bossk (I've been trying to get 8, but can't seem to fit a ship with Mindlink that will activate before Manaroo for 100 squad points).

As far as Moldy Crow goes, in my last Store Championship I got Torkil Mux up to at least 16 in one game.

Mindlink: Each time you are assigned a focus or stress token, each other friendly ship with Attanni Mindlink must also be assigned the same type of token if it does not already have one.

But... yeah... I see what you did there.

I might be wrong but doesn't recon specialist only add one focus, no matter how many you have?

I remember reading that somewhere....

Q: If a ship has more than one copy of the same card that does not require an action to trigger its ability, can it trigger all of those card abilities?

A: Yes. For example, when a ship equipped with two Mercenary Copilots is attacking, it can change two results to two results.

When you perform a focus action, assign 1 additional focus token to your ship.

Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong, but the way I see it each one adds 1 additional token.

Each Recon specialist adds another focus token.

It is weapons engineer that specifies two target locks and so does not work with multiples.

Still works if the Crow (or another) activates first.

Manaroo will get the attani'd token upon the Crow's focus action, and then shoves it along with her two over to the Crow.

She now no longer has a focus token, so the Crow that just got one will focus her through a Mindlink again.

Palob w/Gonk

Manaroo w/Rec spec.

Manaroo moves, focuses.

Palob gets 1. Palob gonks.

Manaroo passes, Palob now have 3, Manaroo gets 1.

Repeat this process for 3 moves while you slow roll. Enter combat with 7 focii, 3 gonk shields and a lot of fun.

One. I bite them.

Unless and until a card becomes limited, you can have multiples that will stack their effects.

Case in point: Tactician was faq'd to limited after play testing discovered that triple-stressing an opponent after a range 2 shot from any YV-666 with a full complement of Tac's was a game killer since you can only really clear one stress per round (barring multiple wingmen and non-Tycho pilots). The next round of firing would see you dragging 5 stress with you if you'd performed a green manoeuvre.

But double-stressing someone at any range is fine... I will never understand FFG.

Range 2-3.

unless you have an r3a2 ywing with an autoblaster, then its only range 1! HA!

Or 1-2, or 1, depends solely on which turret the Y is packing.

Gentlemen, please bear in mind the context of my original post in topic was to answer a question about stacking effects. Perhaps it wasn't the best example to use due to the fundamental difference between the focus and stress mechanics but focusing on a singular detail doesn't assist with the clarifying the issue for the person who asked the question.
