And thus the yo momma joke was given new life... a big fat one, like yo momma's VCX-100!
The model for the GHOST is so big
I do find it funny that the flying manatee-whale is named after something as spectral/subtle as a ghost
We're not model-makers, we're game-players.
WHOA there, speak for yourself, pal.
Storage solutions alone I'm glad there isn't a killer list that requires two ghosts.

It's filled to the brim with electronic countermeasures and feeds false IFF signals to imperial craft to avoid detection.
Mechanically in x-wing this is not really representable other than the sensor jammer upgrade so we wind up with this wonderful brick of pain.
The model for the ghost is so big that when it steps outside wearing yellow....the kids all think it's time to get up for school
This thing is huge.

Why so? Manta rays are extremely graceful, elusive creatures...
unlike this fat rebel BRICK that induces "Yo momma" jokes like no other.
No, really, even the huge butthole of Raider didn't induce so much highschool-level jokes!

Yo ghost so fat, my 'viper ran out of fuel boosting around it

Well, I'm a model-maker too, I just spent all afternoon gluing my Belldandy bike racer garage kit together because I finally found a 1/8th motorcycle kit to match her scale, but the primary purpose of X-Wing is to play a game, not ram two ships together like five year olds shouting, "Whee!"
the Ghost's lovely, I never disputed that. It's just so large it's impractical on the tabletop. Fortunately there are alternatives at your local toystore for less than $5.

Not mine. Found on the interwebs
Hmm... somehow the Ghost always seemed smaller than a YT-1300 in the show...
But reading on wookieepedia, it is indeed bigger than a YT-1300...
Looking at the ghost here, and thinking back to the Falcon in the hangar on Tatooine, just boggles my mind... would the Ghost even fit into that hangar? And how massive wouldn't that seem in comparison in that scene?
I mean
It has a shuttle for a reason
Isn't the Hangar Falcon only 80ft long, compared to the much bigger 113 ft "canon Falcon" (34.52m - TFA Incredible Cross Sections)?
