Misssing SKUs 16 & 17

By Typo, in Star Wars: Armada

I doubt it'll be the interdictor as it's size does not put it into comparison with the Liberty MC80.

I'm pretty sure they'll toss some obscure as hell star destroyer in there.

Also a good point. However, I cannot see how more expansions result in bigger battles. For that we need an increase in fleet points - which is not a matter of expansions - except they woud publish a ship type even larger than the ISD or Home One, which I think they won't.

It matters on how you define "Bigger Battle".

If "Bigger Battle" simply involves more elements, then providing cheaper elements does indeed accomplish that point.

I mean, think of it from a "non-point" perspetive.

Which would you say is the bigger battle?

1) An Imperial Star Destroyer Dukes it out with a Mon Cal. Fighters are launched from each.

2) A Couple of Corvettes engages a couple of Gladiators in a slashing engagement while fighters zip back and forth.

Both probably end up, from our abstract point of view, to be about the same points... But the second has more elements involved, and thus, is a bigger battle with ore things happening...

List making is already pretty tight as it is...unless they intend to bump the points higher again.

Like I said, it matters how you define "Bigger Battle."

If you can have 2 Transports for the cost of 1 Corvette, and simply make that sub, guess what - you just made a bigger fleet, and ergo, will be involved in a bigger battle.

I mean, not to put too fine of a point on it, but we're getting into the realm of technicalities and undefined terms and even undefined variables...

... I have a mean pedigree in pedantry :D

SWM16: Death Star I

SWM17: Death Star II

also - why hasn't anybody discussed SWM 20 & SWM 21 - who says we only get 2 or 4 expansions??

Also, something interesting from the X-Wing forum, it might possibly be something from Rogue One.

I seem to recall X-Wing missing a few too. The imperial vets are like 52 if I recall.

Well, in X-Wing the first skiped number was never filled and it was the canceled Tiles they were going to release but in the end they didnt.

So maybe they wanted to release something more but didnt (and thats why it has taken so long for the 3rd wave).

Or maybe when they were working on the Bespin and Endor mats they meant to do something different or whatever for Armada and those are the two missing slots... Who knows.

You guys have heard of the thing where you bring 4 chickens to a place, paint numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5, on them and then set them loose right?

I honestly think at this point we're grasping at straws because many if not all of us are asking us (publicly or privately) if "this is really it."

I think once adepticon comes we'll get an answer, until then...I'ma chill.

I'm pretty sure this was a senior prank at my high school one year. Far from original on their part, but still fun all the same.

I'm calling it. 3x6 playmats.

Unless it is rogue one related material, which is more likely (in my opinion) than expanding wave 3. The wording in the news piece is pretty similar to X-Wing wave 5.
