Basacally x-wing went from 4 blisters to 2 blisters
Armada went from 2 boxes 4 blisters to 2 blisters... It's much more noticble in impact

This changes the game somewhat. Gives us more options.
They don't even HAVE to give us any news. They could just let it release. Who knows. Wave 4 could be slotted for Q4 2016 or Q1 2017. With a large medium small AND fighter packs. Or even a new faction. So... Rest. Relax. Think of wave 3 as wave 2.5 if you must. And think of the new possibilities.

Ohh Ohh... me too. I spent one trillion dollars on armada and got crapped on. I mean carrying that much stuff place to place, the number of runs to the car, sheesh a bird is destine to crap on you going out to the car that many times. How did you spend 1k on the game? Did you buy like 800 points of each ship. Were you planning on doing a real ship to ship reenactment of Endor? Maybe its good that you're getting out of it if you're spending 1k on like 9 ships and 3 squadrons. I get buying multiples (and I have multiples) but 1k? Crap. 3 of everything from csi doesn't even hit 1k. I don't think its FFG that crapped on you dude. It might be the guy from your credit card company in the chopper circling your house trying to collect on your bill.

The battles will be bigger because these new ships are cheaper costed and more ships can be added to fleets!

As it is, there are some cards, that are not used usually, but every ship is used, and useful. The VSD as the worst, is still a scary thing, and quite useful.
Squads vs ships is pretty balanced. Neither dominates completely.
I'd prefer after wave 2, which provided a pretty complete game, with some changes that shook things up. (Intel squads) to not try to change the whole balance of the game each wave, and have smaller waves. Because it's less about the waves and more about the games, and Wave 2 Armada is pretty damned good.
Sure I'd like a Liberty and an Interdictor (cruiser, you can take your comic book artists that can't draw and shove the Interdictor class Star Destroyer up, you know where, IMO), but this is fine, and pretty much completes the iconic ships from the trillogy, with the transport. (Liberty type and SSD are the only two not in there, but I'll call that a wash, with the MC80 for now, and the SSD unlikely to come out for a while, if ever.) There's also Dreadnoughts, and AFM1s. Plus stuff from the new movies. (I'd bet on a year for that.)
So what's everyone getting worked up about? At least it's not some of the EU superweapon of the day crap.
