Look great! I want to get my hands on those dice but placing top-8 at regionals is a pretty long shot for me.

Lol, its a copy and paste from their LCG model. I have several, and all use the exact same line about their alt-art cards.
would have preferred acrylic defence tokens and coins again really I know metal prices are at a all time low but come on a fancy new manoeuvre tool would have been better

Yes. It matters in an LCG as they'd be shuffled into your deck, and the slight change in manufacturing could be spotted on the back of the card, potentially allowing you know which card is on the top of your deck for example.
Makes no difference whatsoever for Armada ofc. Apart from trolling your TO maybe 
Of the kit, I'd like an Ackbar card. And the trophy is cooler than the other kits trophies. Past that...eh. It's not screaming I need to go play a regional.
Part of that probably is the curb stomping I'm expecting.

My OCD like tendencies are keeping me from playing the three I've got because the fourth doesn't match.

Going to do the WV regional, but I'm only really after the Ackbar card, beyond that would just be gravy.
Still sad no Engineering tokens. That said I will be really gunning for a top 8 at the 2 regionals i go to get all the swag. Now if i could only get a mon mothma card from gencon, my collection would be complete.
With 64 of the Ackbars per kit, I bet most regionals will be able to hand out more than one. That second Ackbar will make good trade bait or be sellable to cover the cost of the event.
Just want the Akbar would love to get the dice though.

This is the worst news of the day (Wave 3 is just fine).
The lack of acrylic Engineering Tokens is actually pretty maddening.
This means we have acrylic Nav, Firepower, and Squadron tokens. But everyone I know is waiting to have all four kinds before using them, so that they're not mixing cardboard and plastic into an ugly inconsistent pile.
Now we know that acrylic Engineering tokens are not in the Spring Kits, Regional Kits, or Summer Kits. This means we're either not getting them until the Winter Kits nine months from now at the earliest, or else they will be in the National Kits or Worlds Kits, making them incredibly more difficult for players to obtain. I'd consider this an outrage.
The future OP outline document says there will be Tokens with the Alt Art Cards forthcoming in the future Kits.
Where they have outlined to have four regular tournament kits a Year, rather than the current Three.

Given that they normally theme the year's kits together, I don't know if we'll see the last token, though. I would expect to see Brace, Evade, Redirect and Scatter for 2017.
