If this is just part of the wave I think it would have been better to not make this the first preview. If this is the entire wave I have serious worries about the game's future.
Why?
Game is fantastic now.
Game is getting an interesting addition that will add depth to choices.
What am I missing?
the problem has nothing to do with the GAME persay more those that PLAY THE GAME or rather the lack thereof. if the new waves dont keep up intreast the community will crumble and many of us will lose our chance to play.
There are plenty of games that have been out of production for longer than Armada has been in production, that still have thriving player bases. A good game with good IP will always have a player base.
Really? name one, i have never once seen a community for a game that is out of production...

Blood Bowl. Until about two months ago GW hadn't touched that game in an age. Around here there are at least three leagues that I know of that regularly have at least a dozen players as well as tournaments. There is even an official organisation running the game, the NAF. There is a 'world championship' every four years as well.
