Personally I'm OK with this as the constant need to re-learn rules three times a year due to upgrades and ships that significantly changed the game is one of the reasons I've moved away from X-Wing to Armada. I can though understand totally that people used to a higher release schedule are going to be disappointed. I just hope the forums don't become clogged up with threads from people bemoaning Wave III and threatening to quit though!

Okay, so it's a really small wave - so much so that the word 'wave' doesn't really seem to apply. (No, I don't think we're being lied to.)

But I think I'm okay with it. These are pretty darn cute, if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong I'm pleased we get stuff that messes with the game play...but the amount of stuff in wave 3 is a bit...eh underwhelming.

I'm predicting we see it around Christmas time.

1. Can gozanti's take expanded hangers?

2. Point costs

3. Is there a turbolaser upgrade slot on either variant of the transport? Are there even two variants of these things?

There are Indeed 2 Versions of the GR-75...

There's the Combat Retrofit (shown on the Card)...

And one that starts with an "A" on the Ship Token, that I can't read.

Whereas the Imperial Gozanti has "Gozanti Class Carrier" on the Ship Token

and Gozanti Class Assault Carrier on the Ship Card.

So yes.

Dras, the ship card appears to read: "Armed GR-75". While there are two different types, it appears they are keeping the unarmed version hidden for now.

Same here. I like the more 'pedestrian' approach to releases. Unlike X-Wing there's no need to re-learn the rules every couple of months. Also there'll be less endless speculation (hopefully!).

Guys, check out the product numbers. These two new ships are SWM18 and SWM19. I don't think they've revealed SWM16 or SWM17 have they?

Of course I always want more ships, but I am really happy with these guys, especially the GR-75. I am pretty much always hurting on squadron points for my rebel builds and the bomber command center seems like just what the doctor ordered for X-wing/Y-wing builds! Bomber crit-fishing with dodonna, GR75's, X's, Y's...

I imagine tie bomber builds will also be much more delicious!
