I pre-ordered through MM and my shipment is expected to arrive on the 25th. So they don't seem to be much faster at MM.
Last wave my MM preorder took forever. It really just depends on when they pull and ship the particular order I think.

My understanding is that MM pull/pack/ship orders in the order those orders are made. My brother ordered his several weeks before I put mine in and his status was updated a few days ahead of mine.

My last tracking update (~7 am Pacific time US) has mine @833 miles away, 12.5 hours by car. So I'm really hoping for sooner than a week lol.

Mine just arrived! The original ETA was the 21st, then the 19th, but now it is in my hands. Of course I have to finish working before I get to unbox everything.
Thanks Fed-Ex and USPS for moving it all along speedily despite some bad weather in Colorado.

I am such a loser.
Mine left a facility 800 miles away at 2:05 today. Yet it went from arriving on the 25th to arriving on the 26th. So just a bit bummed. Though on the plus side I bought these with birthday money from my parents, and they will be up visiting that day. It would be kinda cool to receive the package and when my dad asks what did I get I can say "My birthday present from you and mom"
Meh.

You have to. I ordered the day before they were slated to be shipped out (Thursday I believe) and I got my entire order the next Monday. Good stuff, lots of unboxing...
