Juke and C-3PO

Off topic too, but wasn't it ruled that OL prevents HLC to turn crits into hits?

Yes

If a ship locked by Omega Leader attacks Omega Leader with a Heavy Laser Cannon, it does not change its [crit] results to [hit] results.

I love how they keep making the Falcon worse and worse

We all enjoy that!

I dont think they are making the Falcon worse, they are just making other ships balanced and up to date. Fat Han builds were stupid, probably because I am an Imperial/Scum player, but meta changes as the game grows. Some might say the T 65 X Wing is the penultimate Star Wars ship, but it is virtually never taken.

So a dice mod is not always happening in the mofify dice step, but is still considered one right?

Yes

Players can modify dice by spending focus, evade, and target lock tokens and by resolving card abilities. Dice can be modified in the following ways:

  • Add: To add a die result, place an unused die displaying the result next to the rolled dice. A die added in this way is treated as a normal die for all purposes and can be modified and canceled.
  • Change: To change a die result, rotate the die so that its faceup side displays the new result.
  • Reroll: To reroll a die result, pick up the die and roll it again.
  • Dice can be modified by multiple effects, but a die cannot be rerolled more than once.

Normally (like with HLC) the card is explicit when it occurs outside of the modify dice step, even though that seems to be the intent with C-3PO, it doesn't specify. In regards to Omega Leader, his ability blocks modification at any time during the attack.

@OP: Maybe i'm being confused here, but how would c3-po be affected by zuckuss? You add the evade result (if you guess correctly) and then zuckuss can force you to reroll the die. The result from c3p0 stays.

Where's the interaction here? I dont see any change. Am i missing something?

Anything that adds results (evade, hit, etc) is effectively adding an extra die to the pool with that result on it. So essentially with C3PO, you rolled 1 die, have whatever it's result, and add a second die to the pool with the evade result if you guessed right. So zuckuss then can make you reroll both (or either, or neither) dice.

You're supposed to literally add a die, which (if added prior to the attacker's turn to modify defense dice) Zuckuss could force to be re-rolled. Most of the time people don't actually do this because it often can't (or won't) be modified before you compare results (e.g. using an Evade token, it's past the attacker's turn to modify the defense dice so it's generally unnecessary, if the defender had a defensive re-roll ability they could technically re-roll their just added evade die).

The most common occurrence of people actually doing this that I've seen is with Advanced Targeting Computer (adding a crit).

I see, thanks. Thats not very intuitive if you read the c3p0 card text imho but i guess it makes sense :)

I love how they keep making the Falcon worse and worse while the Decimator gets better and better. One of (if not THE) most iconic ships in the Star Wars universe getting out performed by and ugly blob that was in one video game...

Only the Fat Falcon.
