Target Locks for Vessery to feed on, and any 2 AGI ship gets dropped to 1, then any evades juked away. Not a ton of HP, but after the fun I had with Defender and 2 /FO's, this seems like it will be really great too!

Agree/Disagree? Tweaks?

Until the Tie /D title comes out if you want another PS8 Tractor Weilder, might i point you to Captain Kagi, SJ Tractor Palpatine. its a big target, but its a big distraction while Inq and OL do work with Emp support.

Similar to what I was thinking, I just like PTL on Inquisitor more and prockets are a good alternative for Inquisitor with PTL if you don't want Hull Upgrade on Vessery.

Ruthlessness should fix that problem a bit. He should have lock from Omega to feed on, and besides that ps of 6 or 8 is pretty irrelevant nowadays.

Yeah I've been using ruthlessness on Vess on VASSAL and he's a beast. But in this list, with tractor beam, its not ideal. So far, most opponents don't change their deployment to counter-act it, so I've been dealing 3+ damage with it per match (in addition to his regular damage!)

You can also use Vader with -1 Adaptability instead of Inquisitor.

i used tractor vs MJ on vassal and when i say he agonized over being even remotely close to asteroids i mean he took x2 as long to set dials for the fear of having one of his TLT's tossed on a rock.

Hitting your own guys is a risk, so I wouldn't use it in more than a 3-ship list.

The first list I've tried is Kinetic Operator's DVD:

Vessery w/ TIE/D, tractor & ruthless = 39

Delta w/ TIE/D & ion cannon = 33

Delta w/ x-7 = 28

Its not bad, but requires a lot of practice. Trying to get the x-7 guy in range for a first round TL (for vessery's ability) and have all your ships in good shooting positions, while at the same time such that none of them can be focus fired on, is an extremely tall order.

This is the list I've been using on VASSAL:

Vessery w/ TIE/D, ion cannon, ruthless & hull upgrade = 44

Fel w/ PTL, title, autos & target comp = 34

Epsilon Ace w/ comm relay = 20

This list is also tricky to use. I have been using Fel as bait since opponents tend to hate him. This allows Vessery to set up a good shooting position with no return shots (or very little). Epsilon Ace is much easier to grab a first turn TL (and can do so somewhat safely thanks to comm relay). Your ships are very squishy (except Vessery), so you have to fly carefully, but Vess is a monster here (more so against small-based ships because only one source of ion).
