Interesting change to R3-A2. Only triggers once now. Wish I had time go read all of this now instead of skimming it at work.
New FAQ up.
No, it's exactly the same as it was before. TLT shots means only one stress. You can still get up to two stress via BTL title.
You are correct, I'll change my earlier statement to I wish I had time to read it and process it instead of being at work.
the new stuff about measuring range with autothrusters and tactician is interesting.
So if any part of your base is at range 3, autothrusters kick in. Or if any part of your base is at range 2, tactician kicks in.
So you could be getting shot at range one and still get stressed from tactician, or shot at range 2 and still have autothrusters kick in.
EDIT: I'm a bit wrong. Seems to only matter if a turret is involved, but you get the picture. Just read on for better explanations.
Edited by RogueLieutenantWade Piche clarified that maneuver reference sheets are fine on Facebook. So what are they banning with that outside material rule? Googled strategies? Texts from friends?
Inquisitor DOES ignore autothrusters, and Valen Rudor CAN escape range to avoid a second TLT or Cluster Volley. He also activates his ability before Tactician is applied.
*******. Yes.

That's what I would enforce. Third party apps may be a gray area, too. I would say it's basically... if it's FFG released information it's fine. If it's forum posts, strategies, or written notes about how to counteract things, it's not.
nashtah Pup keeps Veteran Instincts or Adaptability if it was on Bossk..... Interesting.
"the Tie Adv. Prototype is range 2, but the Tie Adv. Prototype is inside arc at range 3. Therefore, the Tie Adv. Prototype will not roll an additional defense die and Tactician will not trigger, but Autothrusters will trigger.”
Oy... What a headache scenario. xD

We knew this, right?

That's only with a Turret tho and really not that hard to figure out if stuff has ark abilities they trigger depend the range of the part that's in ark.

Yeah seems they've been a little fluffy with the Elite PILOT Talent-ness of the card. The pilot is alive, therefore he keeps his ability to be better (but only with those 2 cards)

Not exactly, against a Primary Turret if you are at Range 3 in arc, but Range 2 out of arc, then Autothrusters kicks in, but you don't get the bonus Range 3 evade die. Also, against Tactician if you are at only Range 2 in arc, but at Range 1 closest-point-to-closest-point, then you get stressed & attacker gets +1 attack die.
The Inquisiter looks **** sexy with the new faq...

About the bolded: No. Tactician requires that any part of the defending ship's base be at range 2 WITHIN YOUR FIRING ARC. But Autothrusters as well as rolling an extra red or green die for range measure closest point to closest point.
Edited by Danthrax"Q: Can I shoot at and deal Damage cards to a destroyed ship that has not been removed from the play area due to the Simultaneous attack rule?
A: Yes"
Ok... I need to hear some reasoning why this would ever be something you'd want to do. I'm sure it came up for a reason, so please, enlighten me. ![]()

In order to trigger an effect from attacking. Like whispers focus or ACD.
