Also disappointed that you didn't make the top 10, maybe next year MM. :P

I feel like Leonardo at the Oscars.

Well, now you have a clear path in front of you -- all you need to do is be mauled by a bear, and then you'll win.

Though, I think it's funnier that he gets one NOW after brutalizing himself for that role.

That joke doesn't work anymore.

It was a gimme. He should have had one long before now. It;s all politics anyways.

See, I've never been impressed by his acting ability. It seems he's at his (relative) best when surrounded by a strong cast and director all propping him up.

That said, if Marisa Tomei can win an Oscar at all, let alone for a wooden performance in a bad comedy? Sure, give one to DiCaprio, too. ;-)

Ah, he wasn't too bad in Django Unchained, even without being surrounded by much better talent. But then he was playing a smarmy bastard, so I guess that apple didnt fall too far from the tree.

I think he is a great actor :) Actors often get blamed for bad direction.... Just look at the prequels :P

GMKR!

GM Knowledge Rhino!!!

It all makes so much sense now. Remeber how you were banned for being obtuse, rude and mean spirited and here you are still up to the same old tricks!

So, have you grasped those manouver rules by now? Or do you still know better then the devs?

I see the villain whose name you unmasked is greyed out....wonder if he was banned or kamikazed his own account?

I ratted him out. I am not proud of it but I have no interest in returning to the boards of that time...

Late to the thread and I missed all the intrigue. It was like the "Return of the Phantom Menace". I imagine GMKR/Knowledge Rhino raising and lowering his hood like Palpatine in the Lego Star Wars cartoon.

To be fair, Lucas is a fantastic visual director. Just look at the opening of Revenge of the Sith and the battle over coruscant as proof of that, telling a story that goes slowly peels back from small to vast in one fluid shot is really good stuff.

It's just people that he's no good with.

Couldn't been any worse than woodpecker bait who was cast in the role.

He's not deal-breaker bad to me. For an example of that, look no further than the person cast as the first titled character in this weekend's big blockbuster. (Not that he's the ONLY problem I have with that movie, keeping me away...he's just the first and the biggest.)

And I definitely don't blame actors for bad script or direction. It saddens me whenever Clooney continues to take the fall for Batman & Robin, when that's all on Goldsman and Schumacher.

I won't excuse Schumacher too much, but I think a bit of it was that he was trying more to make a WHAM! POW! BIFF! Adam West Batman more than a serious Dark Knight Batman. It's still a terrible movie, but it's slightly better if you see it as camp that failed.

Mind you, terrible as it is, it's still a **** sight better than it how Batman vs Superman looks like it's shaping up to be.

That first character name you used in the title there? He's not in it. The proper name is Batfleck. ;p

Very off topic, but I saw the movie yesterday.

As Spoilerfree as I can manage:

Batfleck is okay, as in "I don't mind him", the story is at least decent and the fighting scenes are pretty much what we hoped for in super hero movies since you first read comics. Luthor is very different from previous incarnations, but I think it is a fresh twist. All in all I enjoyed it, as did the girlfriend. (3D is definitly worth it.)

Marvel took several movies to build up to the huge cast movie, and it paid off.

DC is directly responding to the large cast Marvel movie that's on the way.

Too much, too soon.

While the movie was never going to win me back after the shitshow that was Man of Fail, when I found out that Superman straight out murders a terrorist in the opening scene of BvS, I washed my hands of ever seeing this piece of crap. Superman should not be in an R Rated movie.
