If you watch carefully (and I know you do,) you can generally see the who, why, and how of this. I fail to understand why we can't all just be the civil adults we know we can be. It really is a few repeat customers that think we don't notice when they grab a new moniker. We notice.

Yeah, I wouldn't call that rude. If that's rude, then 99% of us should probably just delete our accounts now. Haley would be pretty alone here with that standard. For example, I've said worse (even though I see nothing wrong with that post) and I didn't make your list.

My definition of rude is well beyond someone pointing out we should all be civil and stating the fact a few are more guilty of being uncivil then others. Evidence provided - see Forum.

He pointed out that some are uncivil here. That's pretty much what you did. And you went a step further by actually listing names. If that's your only evidence of themensch being rude, you probably should remove him from your list or add yourself.

Well dang it, it sure was rude of me to point out that some of us notice repeated bad behavior and to issue a plea for us all to get along better. As Jar Jar would say, "How rude!"

You want to get rid of the likelihood of a locked post? remove all of the people from that list, and you will not have a locked post. I challenge you to find a locked post in this forum that they did not have their hand in.

The consistent thing you can see in any locked post, is that as soon as anger happens, you can see multiple people attack the perceived threat, really fast. You can also see a lot of passive aggressive baiting words/comments. It is usually done by either stating there comment is wrong with no supporting evidence or outright insulting then complaining when the target of the insult responds. You can see this behavior in those two threads when I had zero to do with. The repeat customers that are the issue, are using a consistent moniker. If you need a list of the offending parties I will provide them in a list below, without the "you know who you are" kind of passive aggressiveness.

It IS rude. He was stating (passive aggressively) that I am not civil. If you do not see that as rude, that is a lack of understanding of what rude is on your part. Now was that an "attack" style rude? that is debatable, but it is a 100% fact it is rude.

2 reasons you didn't;

1. You still try to be civil in the middle of fighting the others on the list are causing.
2. While I saw a few inciting remarks (okay, several) it wasn't every thread you were part of.

Here is a stat block for Haley's character. Just off the top of my head and no where near min-maxed but I don't usually go in for those builds anyway.

Objection, your honour. Some of us can be snarky at times (I count myself in that) but Desslok - while having an offbeat sense of humour - isn't one of them.

It seems odd to include kaosoe also. He's not usually 'prickly'.

Yes, there are people here I seem to disagree with, but that's okay, as long as we don't make it personal.

A lot of them I respect even if we don't often agree and sometimes argue *cough* Donovan Morningfire *cough*.

I took a break when things got a bit too heated, but overall the forums are actually a lot nicer than most.

Aha! You assumed I was directly addressing you. Of course I was not, but I apologize nonetheless that you felt like you were singled out as the only person perpetrating this and thus felt alone. You're not alone. There are a couple others that pull the same stunt and while I will eschew naming names, I will instead ask again that we all be more civil, myself included. My intention, as always, is to engender one's own reflection of one's own actions in hopes that epiphany will result.

While I think a Miraluka species would suit her, in the face of their not being an official one i choose to go with human with the blindness being more colour than anything else. I'm sure we'll get one at some point as part of the F&D line.

When defending against an attack, no it does not.

When inciting, like that comment you just posted did... then yes, that is why you are on that list. That is your MO, you incite anger then taunt/ridicule when people respond to the inciting comments. I posted 2 examples already, I can post more if you need evidence of your behavior.

I posted based on your comments in the 2 listed closed threads that I had no part of, there was a note based on past behavior but it was mostly due to those 2 threads.

Look at the way Maelora and kaosoe responded versus you and 2P51, that is 100% of my point.

Just because you didn’t participate in those threads doesn’t mean that you’re not a troll, and that we didn’t notice that you had created another account to post with because the old one had become too well-known.

In this case, “themensch” was referring to another example of recent troll who has done the same thing, but we also noticed him.

So, you’re both trolls, and you both deflect when someone calls you on it. And ultimately, it is your trollish behaviour that leads to the locking of the threads. There are those of us who are less willing to allow trollish behaviour to stand, and so you do tend to see us taking action.

You’ve just got your cause and effect switched around, which I’m sure you did on purpose.

Please feel free to go hide under a rock again. We’ll keep the light on, and we’ll notice when you come back out.
