I've always imagined that haley looks a bit like her avatar (that whoever helped her choose it, recommended one that looks sort of like her)

Personally I have a goatee and light brown hair so I "sort of" look like my current avatar (the beared male jedi guardian in the force and destiny set of avatars) but don't have nearly as much hair on top as I used to. Way back in high school (early 1990's), people told me I looked a bit like Han Solo (for among other reasons, I did the slightly lopsided smile thing when I thought something was funny, and I had the thick full hair in a similar cut).

My brother set up my account. When it came time to pick an avatar, i asked him to pick something cute. After a few minutes, he said he picked an avatar that looked just like me. I was so sure that meant he picked some ugly monster or worse that I went to my mother to tell on him!

She told me what my avatar looked like. She didn't think it looked just like me but it wasn't too far off so I owed him an apology. When i did, he made me feel all guilty for not trusting him, too.

So, one day just before last Christmas, when i needed some cheering up, he finally confessed that he had chosen some horrible picture but changed it before mom could check... ugh! And then he admitted that he planned to change it back but he forgot!!! UGH!!!

It looks to be getting that way R2builder You see... I just love Star Wars, always have since 1977, some forms of it are better than others but that's all down to personal opinion far as I'm concerned. These forums used to be full of great stuff, I love hearing about people's adventures or the new ships they've created, or old ships they've statted for everybody else, or the awesome deck plans they've produced! I've found the stuff on here to be both inspirational & entertaining & in a number of cases threads have helped improve my game! These days tho it seems that arguments are becoming more & more frequent which really is a **** shame... & that's certainly not entertaining! Let's remember it's a game guys, a great game as it turns out so let's just enjoy it

If you watch carefully (and I know you do,) you can generally see the who, why, and how of this. I fail to understand why we can't all just be the civil adults we know we can be. It really is a few repeat customers that think we don't notice when they grab a new moniker. We notice.

The consistent thing you can see in any locked post, is that as soon as anger happens, you can see multiple people attack the perceived threat, really fast. You can also see a lot of passive aggressive baiting words/comments. It is usually done by either stating there comment is wrong with no supporting evidence or outright insulting then complaining when the target of the insult responds. You can see this behavior in those two threads when I had zero to do with. The repeat customers that are the issue, are using a consistent moniker. If you need a list of the offending parties I will provide them in a list below, without the "you know who you are" kind of passive aggressiveness.

There will be lots of rude comments whenever you see the following people in a post.

The more of that list you get in a thread, the more likely it will turn into a locked thread. You want to get rid of the likelihood of a locked post? remove all of the people from that list, and you will not have a locked post. I challenge you to find a locked post in this forum that they did not have their hand in.

So, yeah, that fanfic thing might actually end up being a thing....
