I haven't been able to play much Armada lately (none in the last 2 months) but I'm looking to play in a store championship this weekend. I'm guessing it will be pretty small and casual. I wanted to play and have another person who said they would play if I had a list for them. So I'm trying to come up with 2 lists. I really like Clon's list with the small ships that hit hard but I'm guessing it'd be tough to fly having not played in so long. The ships I have are:

2 cores (I have a friend with another one that doesn't play if needed)

1 ISD

1 VIC

2 raiders

2 glads

2 imperial fighter packs

1 Mc 80

2 mc 30

2 neb

3 cr 90

2 assault frigates

2 rebel fighter packs

3 rogues and villains

1 extra pack of dice

I'd be willing to pick up a couple medium or small ships if needed $50-$75 probably.

My 11 year old girl took an ISD, 2x VSD, Soontir, Howlrunner, and some TIEs.

She brought home a coin.

About a dozen players in the event.

What did you like/not like about the fleet you flew?

I feel like my squadron game is pretty weak. So I was thinking something with a limited amount of squadrons for myself. Mainly just to tie up the other players squadrons for a bit. I was thinking either a small ship imperial build or a 2 frigate plus some other ships Ackbar build for Rebels. Is the MC 80 worth the points? It seems like a lot but I haven't been able to play it yet.

Read Green Squadron 3's thread. He has a decent Ackbar list which fits the bill! (Though I'd trade salvation for Jaina's Light and add some fighters)
