£3 a piece is a bit steep and I cba to pull dials apart.

That cost is actually for a set of 3, which many would be plenty for Palp Aces, Dash Corran, etc lists. 2 sets would be able to cover most lists and anyone running full swarms would need 3 sets. Overall, I personally believe they are worth it and will be purchasing them when they show up in stores.

True. But you are aware that its perfectly legal to use any dials with any faction. Just saying, cause i didnt know until recently.

You say I will only need 3-4 dial covers but my OCD tells me I will want to replace all my dials. It may be better to not start down the road at all...

I'm a Rebel player generally and so I plan to get these for all my Rebel dials in the first instance. At that point I fully expect my OCD to kick in and demand that I get them for all of my Empire and Scum ships too but that can be done further down the line at some point.

I doubt I'll get into them but I want them soooooooooooooooo much.

The reason's I don't want them maybe because I cannot easily switch which dial is in the holder. The actual dial doesn't appear to be that hard but the id token doesn't look like it pops out once it is inset. If FFG has came out with Id numbers instead of Ship Id which would allow me to get 10 dials and use them for any ship I have then that would have been awesome. Also if I cannot swap the Id then they actually take up more room than the dials do now.

As far as I'm concerned, they'll make great "extra prizes" for tournaments that stores will be able to use, so that's good. Not too expensive, can be used with any ship (of a specific faction), etc. It can be fun.

I like them for various reasons. Not gonna go crazy and buy one for each ship right away. Will get a single pack though to try them out.

I've gone for purple as I have custom purple maneuver templates. Having all your stuff match would be cool.

Good question. For my part, I just really, really, really like the color orange and would be thrilled to have orange stands.

Other than that, I'm considering picking up red and blue so that I can have different colors for each faction when I play with just my own collection, but I'm not as concerned with that at the moment.
