A weapon is designed to kill, nobly defending American way of life sounds... well stupid actually. Especially as it's not even american made. It was designed to make money for an arms manufacturer in belgium. Fabrique nationale have made some sexy as hell products though. I totally have an airsoft FN P90 squirrelled away back in the UK. Not bought because of it being in counterstrike at all.

As for achievements. This weekend I made a point to beat space marine on hard just to show off. The final fight is EASY if you know how. It's telling that I have the Emperor's marksman achievement, yet do not have the nob struggle or killing 250 guys on rage achievement. (basically for efficiency i saved my rage mode JUST for nobs so i could quick kill them, and killed most enemies with headshots ranged, the final fight i used plasma/melta. melta for crowd control, double-headshot tap the traitor guard, and overload plasma the chaos marines, finishing with bolter shots to head - finally melta/raging the twins... then finishing Nemeroth as per normal).

I hear that M240 guy has an 8 pack.

Yeah, the Templar model was pretty awful. Created my own version in MP. The Emperor's Children model was pretty great though.

Now, for a real challenge you need to play Chaos Unleashed. Three Killa Kans and Nobs everywhere.

**** you Darius, that's pretty much the only achievement I never managed to get.

Not surprised Space Marine isn't currently backwards compatible, what with THQ being no more. I'm in no hurry to get an XBone as I doubt many of the games I own will ever be compatible either.

In other news. Battlefleet gothic - VERY True to Lore in the campaign plot and VERY true to boardgame (without going too far) in mechanics. Compare to the THQ 40K games that... were almost never lore accurate.

Speaking of Steam. I really want to put a 40k gaming group together, where we all have the same chapter/warband etc.

Also Gecko: 3 tacticals with plasma/melta and perk of choice (I like larramans, but a weapon perk could work) one devestator with plasma cannon/iron halo or lascannon/iron halo. Should work it's way through everything. IMO Raptors lose too many lives, and devestators should be 0-1. Yes, weapon versatility is Space marines version of Soontir's PTL. Just take it for PVE, even if you don't want to be a melta noob in PVP. Nobs and marines die fast to plasma facial, and swarms die to space shotgun.

the M240B is a hell of a weapon, I'd consider naming one of my children after it, though the RPK is no slouch either.

The typing efficiency however doesn't make up for the comparative lack of good games (at least compared to the 360/PS3, XBONE however has yet to overly impress me).

Thanks, but it's probably never going to happen now. Our 360 gaming group has long since disbanded/moved on (yet another reason not to bother upgrading).

360 is now used mainly to watch films/youtube. And occasionally play Double Dragon.

My 360 is in the family room, where my kids play videogames and where it's my netflix platform...

It's no longer really my360.

I've not played a game myself on it for nearly a year.

Space marine + other THQ games are on sale on steam for the next 4 hours guys...

I will however be downloading Borderlands on it with glee in approximately 48 hours time...

How true this is treated myself to a new PC for my Bday and it leaves the xbone in the dust.

I just plug my xbone controller in via the charge cable and away i go.
