Since people like to talk about XWing on the ship, I thought Id throw some rough numbers out. If anybody has more accurate numbers, let me know and I can make the appropriate adjustments. Part of the problem Im facing, is that I dont know the dimensions of FFGs cases or how many of each size ship comes in a case!

So going on the following facts and assumptions:

Fact: a container is 8' x 8.5' x 40' = 2,720 cu. ft. However that is using exterior dimensions.

Assuming XWing ships can be packed on average, 4 per cubic foot, gives us 2720 x 4 = 10,880 ships per container!

Assuming FFG now orders about 10,000 of each ship at one time, means Wave 8 would have fit in FOUR containers! (Probably at a maximum!)

Considering typical container ship now carry 20' and 40' container, where up to 14,500 of the 20's or 7250 of the 40's, FFGs shipment is a tiny piece of the shipment no matter how you look at it!

Considering I'd expect 10,000 of each ship to be what's coming in to Australia (roughly) and Aus. is a smaller market due to our pop. I'd expect many more than that ordered initially before international distribution.
