I'm absolutely brutal with Miranda. Tried her in a variety of 3-4 ships builds, in a K-Wing posse, as the #2 to Dash, with TLT regen tricks. with Homing Missiles, etc. and it has never once gone well.

Which sucks because I love K-Wings, but the only ones I can get baseline mileage out of are the generics

Other than that, I agree with OP on Poe. I haven't flown the VIAT regbots even once to be fair, but that's also because in most games my list can gun down Poe with relative ease. Even with PS9 Soontir or TLT lists. So it's either:

1. Poe is overrated

2. VIAT Poe can only work with specific list (Heaver's)

3. I haven't met anyone decent enough to play him well

I know the feeling. I used to hate the Great White Bison back in the day in which the Fat Han was dominating due to her terrible maneuverability. When I figured out that it was no starfighter and stopped pretending to use it as such I literally fell in love with it.

Now it's the ship I use to deal the finishing blow in my games.

I am just awful with the Tie Advanced. I made so many fun lists with them when the Raider came out, and I don't think I won a single game with any of them.

Definitely TIE Punisher's for me, very hit and miss (no pun intended).

It's crazy to see so many instances of Corran. He's my bread and butter. I run him at 49 points and can count on almost never giving that up in a game.

I really want to like him, but every time I fly him my greens just blank.

Vader with fix, Soontir decked out and basic shuttle and Emperor Palpatine will sooth your issues with Underperforming Aces.

I have a hard time with Starvipers. But that's okay, since they aren't that good anyways, so there was no huge expectation hoisted upon them.

A ship that I definitely over perform with is the YV-666, specifically Bossk. I never run him with Calc or a Mangler, and yet I still see a crit every time I need one. My friends are getting kinda upset with me about it...

On the topic of Poe though. I have never flown him myself, but every time I fly against him he explodes instantly or spends the whole game trying to recover from almost exploding on the first round.

I have serious trouble with Whisper - sometimes I fly great, sometimes I park him on a rock in front of the whole enemy squad. Same with Soontir, to a lesser degree.

I also can't get the YV-666 to work consistently. I always go too fast and have trouble getting things back in arc.

Anything without an eyeball.

I love my TIE's, but every time I try to fly Rebels against my beginner friends they happen to win. I'm not sure if it's my flying, my list building, or both. In any case, it goes poorly. I'm slowly trying to fix this by buying more Rebel ships and flying them when I can.
