You know when you have a Star Wars obsession when...

....when you must use the exact fabric from the movies for your star wars costume.

...when you get into heated discussions with random strangers in the theater after seeing the Force Awakens, defending how Han died by trying to explain how it fitted into the old EU canon. (Jacen/Kylo kills Mara/Han.)

Oh, did I mention that I buy X-Wing and Armada models because I think they’re cool and I like them, but I don’t like playing the actual games that they were created for?

I know that doesn’t compare to some of the rest of you, but I am mildly … obsessed?

The models are great. They have amazing quality and detail for the low price (compared to other tabletops).

Despite wanting to, I haven't played it once, since whenever we actually have the time to get together we just end up playing EotE. :P

I've been holding myself back from binge buying the Armada models thus far, but who know how long that will last.

Nothing wrong with that. I've bought similar gaming items just because they look cool.

This weekend, we bought Firefly Yahtzee on sale at GameStop just for the Serenity dice cup...we're not planning on playing Yahtzee with it. (Probably not with our Doctor Who TARDIS Yahtzee set, either.)

I think these are mostly Star War RPG fan rather than strictly a Star Wars fan

I probably have over 500 of the WotC Star Wars minis and I haven't played a single minis game (and don't plan to), I got them all for the star wars RPG. Every new campaign I play in or I run, I buy a bunch more minis (probably over $100 worth, mostly commons and uncommons) so that I have miniatures that match the PCs and NPCs reasonably well, way back when I was buy complete common and complete uncommon sets on ebay, for the last several years I've been buying from http://www.trollandtoad.com/

I have some Christopher West Maps and and tile sets and I downloaded "all" the fan made star wars minis maps on the "holocron" site before it went belly up and have been printing them as needed

I have all the FFG Star Wars books and GM screens currently released (have a "subscription" a the FLGS), I also have a complete set of the SAGA books (including both printings of the core rule book with and without the errata) and the GM screen.

I got a big @$$ coffee table for gaming in our apartment (my sexy Peruvian wife is actually supportive of my gaming hobby), one of my players (for anyone tracking my posts in other threads this is the player running Karsten Eshan, who was also the GM in the RCR star wars game where I played Kelitah Windrider who had the cybernetic hand with the built in heavy blaster pistol that fired from the palm of the hand iron man style) said "that's not a coffee table, it's a dinner table for hobbits" (given how much hobbits love food, and how short they are, I have to say that's an appropriate characterization of this coffee table)

I dressed up as a Jedi for halloween a few year back (to hand out candy), one of the parents who came by with the kids said "who are you supposed to be... Steve Jobs with a lightsaber?" because of my goatee, balding head, glasses and I was wearing all black like luke in RotJ).

...using the phrase 'WWYD?' (what would Yoda do) instead of WWJD? (what would Jesus do) to a Year 11 pupil (also a SW fan) when he doesn't want to tackle the class work set.... broke the ice and he completed the work - BONUS!

I'm not really sure if this would count...

That’s all really nice stuff, and it looks to me like you’re putting together a nice little Star Wars museum for yourself. Way better than anything else I’ve seen here on the forums.

But I think it’s hard to compete with naming other living beings after characters in the movie(s). I mean, they have to live with those names for the rest of their lives….

R2 Builder never post your address on a Star Wars fansite along with those pictures without first installing bars over the windows and doors, an alarm system, and possibly hiring armed security. :)

Or let your 10 year old nephew loose in there without supervision lest you end up torturing the poor lad after returning to a pile of opened packages.

R2builder wins.

Flawless Victory.

Hahaha, thanks for the great comments everyone!!!

Well my address is 221B Baker St.

I don't have any kids...if you couldn't tell. So I don't have the option of naming them anything Star Wars. But if I did, it would have to be Forest Moon, Millennium Falcon, Star Destroyer, Death Star Trooper...

I do have animals, but I never name anything from Star Wars. It would be too sad when they passed away, then to think about the character and my animal.

The bad thing with all this, I don't have enough space to have all my crap out on display! The wife is awesome enough to let me much area for my man cave/geekarium/gaming room, but it's still not enough room! Oh well. Maybe one day.

Yeah, this summer I do have my 9 year old nephew coming to visit us for us for a couple weeks... At least I have a PS4 and Xbone to keep him occupied and away from the toys...I hope.

For anyone who wants a tour of an older version of my geekarium.

looks really awesome,

Happy i´m not the only man with a understanding (up to some point at least) wife.

Evenso space problemes are normal for collectors... I e.g. have to rotated my SW-Lego Models diplayed in the Livingroom once a month... (****... when did it became that much...)

I want the helmets. All of them.
