Ghost's "Special Arc"

By CBMarkham, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, or if I'm just being dense, but are we meant to believe that the Ghost can fire Torpedoes out of its "Special Arc"?

I know about the interaction of the Shuttle and the Special Arc, but in what other ways does this "Special Arc" differ from an Auxiliary Arc?

Anybody know the full details on this? Thanks in advance.

Without a docked Phantom, it is an arc only for firing Torpedoes. For more clarification (like how it works with Tactician, Autothrustors, or Backstabber), we'll have to wait for the FAQ.

There will no doubt be a rules leaflet in the box that should explain the Special Arc, but as it still hasn't been released, no one knows for sure just yet.

It's still in the "wait and see" pile.

Check out the BolS unboxing. You might be able to read the leaflet.

Unless anything says otherwise, if it's printed on the base, it's an arc for the purposes of Autothrusters, but it would need FAQing to be certain.

Annoyingly, it'll have to be pretty soon, given that people will be playing Wave 8 stuff in SCs this weekend...

Wait, you guys are talking like this hasn't already been seen.

That's the first time I've seen it. I've been asking about it in another thread.

Based on that, anything that doesn't specify the type of arc should work with that.

Yeah it's still an arc even if it has restrictions and as far as I know the rule is still that a printed arc is a printed arc, and unless the cards has some sort of restrictions on it, it counts.

So it would count for autothrusters or Backstabber.

Fair enough, I thought these would've spread like wildfire!
