Making the most of Kanan's ability. Thoughts?

Edit: My own thoughts-

Kanan makes the attack shuttle a primary target. You can save 2 points (autothrusters on an Awing, or turret to dorsal + chopper on Farlander) and slightly increase his own durability by dropping him to a HWK- the dial isn't that much worse, but it makes Kanan rely on other for offense- which helps manage Kanan's "biggs factor"

While Kanan's alive, Keyan can use his entire dial and, if he can maintain a shot, manage his Rage stress every turn. Once Kanan drops, Keyan is limited to green maneuvers for Rage, or lose access to a whopping 1 point EPT. :/

The Awings are standard builds, quite competent on their own, but with Kanan alive (and not being used by Farlander) one Awing a turn can pull a 1 hard or 3 bank and still PTL, which means the enemy has to assume any of them can.

Its a clever use of keyan and kanan. I do wonder though, is rage in this case vastly superior to just a simple PTL? It feels a little round about to save 2 points, and you lose your ability to barrel roll.

Well, it does give "target lock" and Focus on higher PS who arnt in range during the action step- possibly a corner case, but without fighting for top PS it definitely could be relevant. It also lets me have a focus for defence, which could be relevant at range 3.

The advance sensors lets me choose whether to use it or barrel roll each turn, though- use rage, green (or white) to clear stress and spend stress on the shot. If I don't have a shot, I got one "make up" turn where I rage after the stress removal.
