So I was in my FLGS today discussing wave 8. The owner told me that March 17th is confirmed uk release date for wave 8 however he tells me that FFG are splitting releases rather than having one big launch per year. He tells me the Ghost is delayed and only JM5K, TAP and Mist hunter will be released on 17th be thinks that Ghost will be timed to launch around same time as imperial vets.

Anyone else heard this? I have a ghost on pre order. It seems unlikely as Ive never known a mixed launch wave, but then he knows launch details and only has stock arriving for the 3 ships for 17th. I can't see why he would lie about it and he seemed to think it was common knowledge Ghost was delayed.

Esdevium Games have got the Ghost listed in their new releases for this week: http://www.esdeviumgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/1611-__-14-03-2016-__-WEB.pdf. I think they're the main FFG distributor for the UK. That said, my FLGS has had a smaller allocation than expected of some ships apparently.

My lgs here in Spain got the notice of the delay of the complete wave 8 till April, so it seems something's going on...

It better not be - it's the only Wave 8 thing I want. They're ready to go though, as there's been unboxings of them etc.

Hope not. Me and my lad only got X-wing this week. My lad loves it. Been playing loads of full on 100 point games. He asked for Ghost instead of an Easter Egg this year. Hope it isn't delayed or I'll still be buying chocolate eggs. :-(

My FLGS have said they've been allocated down the number they can get considerably. They wanted 30 and were told they can have 18.

All I want is the Mist Hunter and Punishing One. Between Triple Scout builds and Guidance Chimps though, I'm getting the feeling that Dengar's ride might be thin on the ground over here as well.

What if he wasn't lying but just wrong? It's possible to not tell the truth and yet not lie. Lying, like cheating, implies intent. He could simply be mistaken.

I never said he was definitely lying or that he couldn't possibly be mistaken. He was very clued up and confirmed he was getting the other 3 in stock on 17th, I was just curious if anyone knew or had heard anything similar to what he said.

My FLGS here in Australia had confirmation that wave 8 would arrive in the country on the 17th, but had just received notice that it won't be the entire wave, i.e., one or more ships would not be included...

My eldest has Ghost on per-order. I hope he doesn't end up disappointed.

Apparently, Punishing One allocations are well down on what was expected (my store initially expected 24 and are getting 12).
