With the increase in new players and game popularity I am seeing more reports of odd tournament behaviour and missed rulings at tournaments.
What I would like to do is create an informal thread for T.O's to check on so they can be aware of what kind of bad plays players can make during a tournament and, hopefully, prepare a response should they encounter the same.
What I would like for the community to do is have other players, judges, and T.O.'s give their anecdote stories so that others may learn from the experience. There is currently no way to compile the reports that are happening at tournaments aside from one player posting it as a new thread on a forum and then everyone weighing in their opinions on it. It would take too long to search for them and reference them.
For this to work I would like for thread responders to apply the following rules when posting:
1) Give date/tournament location/level of tournament you were at (Casual/Store Championship/Regional/National/Worlds)
2) Just post the anecdote of what happened. Please, only witnessed infractions, no "from a friend through the grapevine stuff". Be as detailed as possible in what happened and what was said or done.
3) Please don't comment on the anecdotes. They'll get lost in the noise and bloat the thread. I just want the stories posted not the opinions on them.
This threads aim is try an compile type and frequency of the issues facing T.O.'s when it comes to making a ruling, how they handled a situation, or what they had to deal with.
It will be for reference use only.
