Something strange is happening at MM for wave 8. the Ghost and Punishing One are already sold out. What is going on? It there a run on these ships.

Probably just out of their guaranteed stock.
Yeah they won't want to sell more than they can provide it'd cause alot of complaints and bad press.
CSI has also stop any further pre-orders of the "Punishing one".
People are wanting to run three of them off the bat, so they're probably selling faster than the small ships.
Better be because of all the pre-orders (like mine) being sent out before anybody else gets one off the shelf or I'm going to be really pi**ed off!

Same. I'm not sure if it will be seen as much on the table due to players having to invest in 3 physical copies, but still.... It's going to be EV-ERY-WHERE.

It's novel as hell, a legitimately flexible PWT base and VIABLE ordnance carrier 
Not to mention support (manaroo) and unparralled bumpmaster (int agent, feedback, large ship for apl, built in broll; relatively cheap)

These are two of ffgs best designed expacs, IMO, not even counting what they bring to their factions

Heads up, Ghost and Jumpmaster have preorder stock again, and when I called to verify they said if its available for preorder they will get it on Thursday.

You will get the ships from wave 8, especially Ghost and Jumpmaster in 6-8 months with new production run.
Good news it will be just in time for Wave 9 and all new Meta.
Yay. Sadly, the only thing of interest for me in this wave is Guidance Chips. I guess I'll buy TAPs. The rest can wait.
The lack of desirable (for me) ships and delay in releases are killing my interest in X-wing. Being sold out of a product before it hits shelves doesn't help.
