Han goes when?

By LugWrench, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Hi, everyone. Just had a question about the Han Solo card, and I apologize if this has been asked and answered elsewhere.
Han's card states that he may be activated during the Ship Phase as if he were activated by a Squadron command. But it also has the Rogue keyword, stating that Han can move and attack during the Squadron Phase. Does this mean that Han can be activated in the Ship Phase, and then again in the Squadron Phase? Or is it an either/or situation...you can activate during one or the other.

Han can only activate once - so you can choose when to activate him. Either at the beginning of the ship phase, or with a squadron command from a ship, or during the squadron phase.

Thanks, Der. I suspected that was the case, but wanted to be sure before I dropped him into play.

Also note that Hans activation if taken during the ship phase does not count as a ship so you move him then activate one of your ships before passing your go back to your opponent

Han activates, then first player activates ;)

So Han can go before the first player moves his ship...or he can hold off until the Squadron Phase. Neat trick.

Or of course, be activated in the Ship Phase by a different Ship :)

....with Adar....

Then yavaris...

...then go at the top of the next turn.... ;)
