As much as I liked it and has success to it, I am not sure how competitive it can be in a tournament. So here is my 2nd go at it using some thoughts from other builds I read here:

Wes Janson (this guy is money to pair up with Keyan)

R2D2+Integrated Astromech

Tycho Celchu

PTL+Autothrusters+A Wing Test Pilot+Chardaan Refit+Rage

This gives a lot of hitting, re-rolls and die mods with some surivavability in EU for keyan (that extra boost is nice), Janson with shield regen and Tycho being Tycho

Any thoughts on list 1 vs list 2? Thanks in advance!

I flew the same list but my Tycho was a bit different. He had daredevil and PTL refit and test pilot. He is fun to fly with Dardevil. Rage can be interesting though.

I also had Advance Sensors on the B instead of EU.

Just watch out. The B can die pretty quick. It's a fun list though. And can put out some good damage.

I always had Advanced Sensors on Keyan, but felt that EU had given him some more maneuverability.

And yes, Keyan is usually the first to go, but not after giving a few good shots on the ships first.

That's why the Poe list, people second guess whether to take out Keyan or Poe since both aces are pretty dangerous.

I like keyan alot but at nearly 40 points he's going down fast he's the obvious first pick.

Keyan and Wes are similar in points and I really wanted Predator to work with the X-Wing

you can AS Rage green turn that focus in to an evade on Jans, give Farrell 2 evades, or stock Blue Ace's Comms Relay any given turn.

Or you can go with Red Squad Vet (same loadout) Plus Draw their fire, to help keep Keyan alive while you regen shields with R2D2
